Great Location, Disappointing Customer Service
Pros:

I stayed at Le Méridien Essex Chicago and was honestly disappointed with the customer service from the daytime front desk staff. They were not friendly, seemed to have an attitude, and barely explained anything regarding the hotel charges or fees. Communication was very minimal and it felt like guests were an inconvenience rather than welcomed. The hotel itself is in a good location, but the overall experience at check-in left a poor impression. Better customer service and clearer communication would make a huge difference.

Kiera and Saira at The Meridian in Chicago provided such a welcoming experience. They were both incredibly kind, attentive, and hospitable from start to finish. Their professionalism and positive attitudes truly stood out and made everything feel smooth and comfortable. I would definitely recommend working with them!

Floating Bookshelves?!
Pros:

The lobby is iconic! And everything about it is welcoming, earthy, and special. They really pack it in in the best way possible. I was obsessed with the floating bookshelves. Not only that Kiera and James ATE IT UP WITH THEIR ICONIC SERVICE!!!! They took care of us so graciously and kindly. Giving them 5 STARS for their service and kindness alone!

Pros:

Muy buena experiencia. El hotel cumplió completamente con mis expectativas e incluso las superó en algunos aspectos. Destaco especialmente la limpieza, la comodidad de la cama y la atención del personal, que hizo que la estadía fuera todavía más agradable. También me gustó mucho la ubicación, ya que permitía moverse fácilmente por la zona. Todo funcionó perfectamente y se nota el buen mantenimiento de las instalaciones. Muy recomendable.

Cons:

No tengo críticas para hacer, todo estuvo excelente. Es hermoso el hotel y muy comodo, sin duda alguna me volveria a quedar en este hotel a futuro y tambien lo recomiendo.
