Convention location
Shower was not cleaned, outside of building was dirty, door next to ours was kicked in and not latching. Biggest reason for choosing this location was breakfast. The lobby was closed when we went to check out and had to go next door to check out. Room was musty smelling and window had to be kept open to be in there comfortably.

Loved the Lakeview room. Loved the table and chairs in the room, we spent a lot of time just sitting and watching the water and the ferry come and go. It was a nice walk to downtown.
Looking at the water
It was nasty the screen door was hard to open due to a very dirty track and the screen had a hole and poorly patched. The shower was hard to get the right temperature, had to almost shut it off to get it warm and not scalding, we had to keep asking for TP. They only give out 1 small one at a time, the windows was so dirty you could hardly see out, I moved the side table to plug in my charger, it looked like it had never been moved to vacuumed and stuff was back there, it had no smoke alarms we had to ask to have one. They do not clean only every 3 days, our trash was over flowing and let's talk about the balcony that was so disgusting it had moss and mold growing all over it that had looked like it's been there for years and just keeps getting more and more, the elevator to get up to your room the carpet was ripped and filthy the light inside was just full of bugs and then the handicap railing my husband almost fell because it's loose falling off the wall in his hands got so dirty just hanging on to it. We had went for a corvette car show, we talked to people we new was also there, they said they will never stay again said their rooms was also nasty. One guy said he definitely could not see out his sliding door. Right when we got our room I took the bed apart to make sure it was clean. As soon as we got there we wanted to leave but doomed it through booking.com so didn't know if we would get our money back. I almost forgot we had to ask for a new shower curtain due to the one there had mold on the bottom
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was not at all as advertised on website. Very outdated and in disrepair. Old mildew-stained bathtub with no drain plug, missing lightbulbs, filthy light fixtures, ripped wallpaper, broken vanity. Pool was ok but hot tub was out of order.

Bad mildew smell like black mold. Nasty carpet were there 5 days never cleaned the room. Rude worker
Not a great place. Price was good, with an ocean view. But it's not that clean, you CANNOT lock the doors. The lock is falling off the door that adjoining 2 rooms. The sliding door has not lock at all. The continental breakfast is very slim. Actually I'd give 2 stars to the town of Mackinac City.
Room was dirty and smelled
Not good, I could not cancel my reservation 48 hours in advance, most places it is 24 hours.
I have two rooms for two days, I could not use room #108 it was so bad!
No towels or washcloths in room; phone in room didn't work; walls were dirty - looked like coffee had been thrown at the wall and never cleaned up; no elevator; dirty bathroom floor; fridge door was bent, making it difficult to open and close. Was supposed to have a room with a view of the island; I had a view of the parking lot.
Was traveling in a motorcycle and parking was right outside my room. Very happy with that

Everything else I was told there was breakfast no breakfast room had food in it still trashed were filled all over property with trash flyin around rooms weren’t ready when supposed to hot tub was broke not even a mention to us about it shower was broke in one room tv remote was broken and so much more
In serious need of upkeep needs to be remodeled. one of our rooms (103) had a bucket under the sink because it leaked all the timefloor because the plumbing was messed up. There was no towels. We didn’t check in until six, check-in time was at three rooms were not ready. They weren’t ready until an hour after we got there. Beach was dirty. Nobody cleaned up the siding and had spiderwebs and dried up mayflies all over it. Moss out on the deck in the balconies. Room(483). The breakfast only had coffee, no cream no orange juice no bread no bagels just breakfast sandwiches bought at the supermarket. Floor in the room (150) had soft spots when you walked on it. the sheets were queen sheets on a king bed and they never stayed in.
The hotel room was sooo dirty
Could return to having a nice sit-down breakfast again.
