空港近く便利な宿、無料シャトルバスあり
Pros:

空港近くの近代的ホテル、部屋もゆったり、ミニキッチンも有りポット、冷蔵庫もあり。中庭も広びろ。
ただテロもある国なので警戒厳重
ホテル入る前に検問や荷物検査あります。
空港近くの宿で深夜カイロ着でも無料シャトルバスあり、すぐ宿に向かえるはず、でしたが0時過ぎの到着でシャトルバスいくら待っても来ず、やむなくボッタクリタクシーの洗礼受けてしまいました。最初600から350エジプトポンド£まで値切ったつもりが空港出るとき空港駐車代が必要だと400£払わされ、チップ込みで800に、、調べたら普通100£程度だとか。1£は3円くらいですが。
外貨のドルもあると安心？私はほとんどカードとエジプトポンド£2万円分ぐらいで済ませましたが。1回だけ€で支払いました。

ちなみにエジプト、インドは旅行者泣かせのワースト2、双璧？だとか。
タクシーでも馬車やラクダでも、ボッタクリ、詐欺恐喝当たり前。流しのタクシーは皆ボッタクリで今はウーバーでさえ画面表示に追加請求当たり前に。特にラクダ乗りは途中で降りられないところで数万円請求されることも。
エジプト計画している方はネットで詐欺、ボッタクリ、恐喝事例お調べ下さい。ルクソールでは安くするからと馬車に乗ったら最後にあれは片道の話だ、帰りの分は別に払え、と凄まれたことも。
これがメディアでは伝えないエジプトリアルです。レアな話ではなく日常的なものです。日本では想像できませんが。

Cons:

テロ警戒で常に何処行ってもセキュリティチェックですが、ま、そういうお国がらと。
日本や欧米とは全く違いボッタクリ、タクシーや観光馬車等の詐欺ゆすりが普通で、町中ゴミ散乱の国です。よくネット調べて覚悟して来て下さい。あと、外貨ドルでの支払いが宿によっては現金で求められますので、ホテル予約時は十分注意を。ウーバーは£で現金払いが喜ばれるようです。カードは振り込まれるまで時間かかるので。

Great location to airport, awesome pool, restaurant, staff and pool
Pros:

Location next to airport, pool, breakfast, clean, tidy and safe.
Marwa the cleaner was exceptional and left my room sparkling and bottles of water each day were provided.

Cons:

The doors to each room need to be soundproofed, and signs put up for clients to be quiet and mindful of other guests - especially at an airport hotel where people are coming and going at all hours.

Lovely neighbourhood
Pros:

I always stay at Novotel Cairo Airport, and every time everything exceeds expectations. This time, I would especially like to praise the open buffet dinner. Top class and selection, just like in a luxury restaurant. Huge variety and extremely delicious. Highly recommended!

Cons:

People queuing at the reception and bypassing the line... I really don't like this
