The lobby area is very impressive looking with beautiful ocean views! However, the exterior is weather beaten and the pool area is not kept clean. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. However, bathroom was very small and the shower leaks on to the floor.

Breathtaking view from seaside and direct access to beach, cold plunge is a nice added value as are the complementary kits to toast marshmallows by the fire pits
Limited amenities for the price of the hotel e.g. no free bottled water in rooms. Bar only opened at 3 pm, so you could not get snack or drink before the afternoon. Food in the bar was disappointing. Pool was ok but would have been nicer on seaside. Room was quite small.
Great location
When we arrived we were told about the smores but since I’m an elite member they should have offered them for free.
We stayed here for two nights with our family and couldn’t have picked a better time. We were able to get in just before the famous Concours d’Elegance and all the excitement of Monterey Car Week, so it was nice to enjoy everything before it got really busy.
The hotel has so many thoughtful touches that made our stay special. The complimentary glass of wine was a nice way to relax in the evening, and the nightly s’mores by the fire pit were a huge hit with the kids. It gave everyone something to look forward to at the end of the day.
The ocean views throughout the property were absolutely beautiful. From the lobby and common areas to our room and the restaurant, there was always an amazing view of the coastline. It really made the stay feel special and was the perfect backdrop for a family getaway.
A big thank you to Michael for making our visit even better. He was always welcoming, took the time to answer our questions, and gave us some great local recommendations for restaurants and places to visit around Monterey. His friendly attitude and local knowledge made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Monterey!

I liked being close to the beach.
All the outside furniture to lounge on was covered in seagull excrement. Literally on every piece of furniture. It was gross. I expected more from such a nice and expensive hotel.
Stopped here for a few drinks and the beach. Lovely place, my bartender was Hanna she did amazing super polite and personable. Drinks were great as well. Will be coming here again when I drive through town.

I booked two rooms and they were not right next to each other.
