Beach treasure
Pros:

What a wonderful resort to stay at! The location was perfect, we had an ocean view from our room z& could walk across the street to the beach. Great pool downstairs and free towels & folding chairs too. Room was spacious & very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. Was very easy to get shuttle transportation & pickup location for UBER rides was very convenient. Lots of places to shop and eat within a short walking distance. Really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere & it is very family friendly. Had a great coffee shop in house & even an ABC store inside the Hotel resort itself. My family will definitely come back for our next stay and would not think about staying anywhere else. Great value for the room rates too.

Relaxing, enjoyable and convenient location and we felt looked after by the staff.
Pros:

The large size rooms, the location, the excellent service from the staff from front desk, cleaners and concierge, valet parking guys were all very friendly and polite.

Cons:

The birds in the breakfast area. The pigeons were a real problem so we resorted to taking the food back to our room each day. We had to ask for room towels and other supplies more than once. We know you are already aware of it, but the slowness and number of lifts was a problem causing delays and frustration at times. We have stayed t this hotel before and recommend it to friends. We that it was not quite as good this time as we remembered it from our last visit. The floors were dirty in the hallways and weren’t cleaned during our week long stay.

Overall they have most of what you might need. No major complaints. They take care of you well.
Pros:

I like the location, the breakfast every morning, the extremely spacious rooms. Staff are extremely helpful.

Cons:

They have no on site parking. You must either park across the street at the Waikiki Banyan (which is $50 a night and seems to always say “Public Parking Full”), find a spot in another garage, or pay the premium for the valet parking in the Hyatt (i was told $80 on Friday night). AC in rooms runs cold but i wish there was more airflow / fan. Bathtubs drained slow and sometimes water wasn’t super hot. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful but we noticed they didn’t spend much time in the hallways cleaning the floor. Mandatory destination fee.

Terrible Breakfast, No enough Parking
Pros:

The hotel's staff was very friendly and seemed to have a great attitude.

Cons:

The breakfast was extremely low quality and crowded. They served microwave breakfast sandwiches and canned pineapple. They didn't clean our room on the third night, and we were never able to park at the hotel because they said it was full. We had to park at an expensive public parking lot a couple of blocks away. When the manager asked us how our stay was during check-out, I was honest and politely expressed my disappointment, to which he replied, "I don't know what your expectations were, but we do better than the Hyatts in California".

Too tall to have only 2 elevators
Pros:

This hotel is located about 4 blocks from the beach. it is in a convenient area of town with plenty to eat nearby. However if you're looking to relax, this is not the place. The lobby is constantly busy with people, as is the front driveway - very difficult to get cars in and out, even with valet. The room was large and clean and had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids.

The breakfast was outdoors, which would be lovely if you like sitting in the sun and having to shoo away birds from your food the whole time.

If you'd like to go to the beach, you must request chairs at the front desk and then carry them down to the beach.

The tower is 20 floors, and there are only 2 elevators. Expect to walk the stairs a lot unless you want to wait 10+ minutes during peak hours.

Pros:

Great location. Free breakfast and checking out of chairs, boogie boards and towels. Friendly staff. Close to an ABC store. Close to the beach. Not a fancy stay but a comfortable one.

Would not stay there again
Pros:

Customer Service literally did not care to accommodate my family, so my husband and I were in different rooms on different floors, with one kid each! We called before and requested during booking, but were advised it was not possible. Do not stay on floors 4 and 5, as we were put there not by choice. These were not cheap rooms. Every morning we were woken at 5 am, but they set up breakfast outside the rooms. Hammering, moving tables, chattering, and even music. We did not get any rest.

Pros:

The Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach is clean, well maintained, and staff are overall wonderful! Staff are friendly, pleasant to be around, hard working, and seek to help customers as needed. The Breakfast at this location is ready on time, and fully stocked. I have nothing, but wonderful things to say about the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach location and their staff.

Pros:

Great staff experience and attention. Room was in great condition. Construction going on across street at another hotel but that is out of Hyatt's control. The elevator situation is terrible. There is very often a long wait and when it does show up, it is most likely full already and you must take the next one.

Ok but not what we expected
Pros:

Our stay at Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach did not meet expectations. We paid for an ocean-view room, but the view was mostly blocked by buildings and did not match the advertised photos. Hotel staff explained that ocean views could not be guaranteed. In addition, the elevators were extremely slow, with wait times sometimes exceeding 20 minutes, causing significant inconvenience. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Although we were told our room would be cleaned every other day, it was not serviced until the fourth day despite multiple inquiries.

Graduation trip
Pros:

Overall nice experience. Great location. Add more options for breakfast such as pastries. Replace old uncomfortable and stained furniture in the lobby. Hotel was clean staff was nice. They had beach chairs and towels for you to use which was nice.

Awesome stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay! Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping and food service teams. The housekeeping was excellent, our room and the common areas were always spotless, and we loved the many water refill stations throughout the hotel.

The breakfast was delicious, especially the miso soup, rice, and sweet chicken, which made for a unique and enjoyable start to the day.
Great location, only one block from the beach, entertainment and restaurants.

Overall, we are very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Sad experience
Pros:

My expectation was high base on the customers reviews but sad to say. Valet was horrible no valet was available base on amount of room they have. We park outside the streets and paid their prices. We also had blood stains on out sheets on both beds. Gross

There were only 2 lifts, and they were extremely slow. The included breakfast was very disappointing, and very busy. But again, the staff were great.
