Location is perfect
Really dated, rooms were 1950s. Value compared to other hotels is not great.
Breakfast was not good at all, £22 per breakfast was ridiculous
Location was excellent, right in the centre of town.
Rooms were very tired and very dusty. A shame really as I'm sure back in the day, the hotel would have been great.
The location was perfect.
The room was very dated, walls there paper-thin. Camp bed didnt look very secure with only a thin mattress. Aircon leaked aswell
It’s location was the only good thing
Hotel from the dark ages, it was grubby, poor mattress and the worst pillows I’ve ever slept on. The tv in our room didn’t work and the hotel did nothing to fix the issue. Single glazed windows, broken stuff all in the room and it just generally felt dirty
Receptionist was really helpful and pleasant.
Very tired decor. Shower poor. Toilet didn't flush properly. TV control didn't work. Just generally low standard for a city centre hotel in a nice city.
location
Room was completely run down, stains all over the carpet and marks on the wall. The whole hotel looks like it needs a major revamp no idea on other rooms but mine was awful
It was lovely hotel, friendly staff and a central location
The only little thing was that the tv signal kept going off all the time, but ruin our stay.
like the fact that is old, it's very nice
Really lovely staff, and helpful , amazing bed, great night sleep, great location, and breakfast was filling.
Nothing.
Nothing definitely not 4 stars as advertised
The stairs were dirty, carpets on the stairs had rubbish on, dust and looked like they had never been hoovered.
The shower head was covered in limescale
There was only 1 working plug in the room
Kettle was hidden away in a cupboard behind the mirror, no one told us it was there so didn’t find it until leaving
The bar didn’t have ice and had to be talked through how to make an Aperol spritz as had no idea
