Too much money, but Great experience!
Pros:

The property was clean and hotel staff were exceptionally pleasant.

Cons:

No fault to the property, but it was a very busy weekend for them. Kids and lots families in and out of hotel lobby and rooms.

WE LIKED THE BREAKFAST SERVICE. ADDITIONALLY, THE PRICE OF THE HOTEL WAS REASONABLE.

The whole hotel was clean, the rooms were spectacular, the linens were wonderful, you sleep spectacularly, the beds were extremely comfortable and beautiful, I loved everything

Not luxurious but nice.
Pros:

This is an older hotel that has been updated. I must say it looks a lot better on the inside than the outside. The front desk was friendly and welcoming and the lobby was nice. There is a small bar/restaurant off of the lobby where we enjoyed a nice free breakfast. The room was clean with nice linens on the bed and in the bathroom. The shower is in the bathtub which drained a bit slow but it was fine. Good water pressure and shower products. No complaints at all about the room. The area around the hotel is a busy working class neighborhood…doesn’t look great but it’s safe and close to lots of restaurants, etc.

sloppy cleaning person and faulty door locker
Pros:

Used to be my top stay choice in NYC area.
However, Please do not book this hotel, for your own safety!!!!

The room had a serious design and safety issue with the door lock. I left the room during the day, and when I came back, the door was somehow locked from the inside. I could not get into my own room and had to ask someone to come unlock it for me. It was extremely frustrating and honestly quite concerning that a room door could be locked from the inside while the guest was outside.

On top of that, the room was unbearably hot, as I turn off the AC when I left!! and housekeeping never cleaned the room the entire day. When I raised these issues with the front desk, they kept arguing and justifying the situation instead of offering any real solution. They also claimed that I needed to put up a sign to request cleaning, which was ridiculous to me

Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The unsafe door-lock situation, lack of housekeeping, overheated room, and poor front desk attitude made the stay completely unacceptable.!!!!! aviod at all cost!!!!!!
