Beware of billing practices

A serious warning for future guests if the below is not rapidly solved.

I booked 4 nights through Booking.com at a rate (already extremely high) explicitly displayed as inclusive of all taxes and service charges. At check-out, I was handed a bill 25% higher, with taxes, VAT and service charges added on top. I had to pay in full to avoid missing my flight.

The hotel declined for the moment to refund the overcharge (approx 700€), arguing that Booking.com is responsible — while having collected the money themselves. The matter has been escalated to the owner Marriott Bonvoy. Waiting from the appropriate correction.

High quality, luxurious stay at this hotel!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is very beautiful, large, and luxurious, with spacious rooms and elegant common areas. The restaurants are not only stunning but also offer very delicious and high-quality food. The rooftop pool area was especially cozy and relaxing.
The bed in our room was extremely large and comfortable, and both the pillows and bed linen felt very high quality. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional, with great attention given to guest experience and hospitality. Room service arrived very quickly every time.
Everything was impeccably clean, and the ventilation system in the room worked perfectly, making the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a truly luxurious and enjoyable experience.

High end, elegant stay.

Baktığınız her yer estetik bir şekilde ince ayrıntılarla göz zevkinize hitap ediyor. Herkes kalışınızdan memnun olduğunuzdan emin olmak için gayret sarfediyor. Odamızda çocuklarımıza minik bir süpriz hazırlayıp sevimli ayıcıklı kurabiyelerle bizi karşıladılar. Odaya girdiğimizde bizi bilgilendirmeye geldiler. Çok kısa aralıklarla odamız tekrar tekrar toparlandı. İsteklerimize karşı oldukça duyarlı bir ekip vardı. Yine de çocuksuz kalmak için daha keyifli bir konaklama olurdu diye düşünüyorum.

Cons:

Genelde çocukların kucağımızda uyukladığı şekillerde hotele girip çıktığımız için, resepsiyonun 5. katta olması; zemin katta içeri girer girmez oturacak koltukların olmaması (hemen az ileride var, çocuk taşırken o kadarı bile bana uzak geldi) kısacası binanın mimari kullanımı benim için süper konforlu değildi.

Havuz iki bina arasında sanırım koridor etkisi oluşturduğundan hep aşırı rüzgarlıydı ve suları ısıttıkları halde yüzmeye teşebbüs edemedik. (Mayıs ilk haftası)
