К сожалению, отель был продан в 2025-2026 годах. До этого он был абсолютно прекрасным, отелем владела семья почти 100 лет и это чувствовалось во всем! После продажи очень многое испортилось, ушли ключевые сотрудники, упало качество обслуживания. Отель потерял свою душу. Сменился шеф повар и еда стала намного хуже. Даже простые блюда и паста совершенно не соответствуют уровню отеля! Новый владелец отеля - компания, скупающая дорогую недвижимость и отели по всему миру. Поменялась концепция и теперь он больше похож на бездушный сетевой отель. Персонал настолько не понимает где они работают, что могут спорить с гостями по мелочам, забывают выполнять просьбы и т.д. Мы очень надеемся, что всё это изменится, но шансов мало!

the staff wasnt super happy. The hotel was overall very old.
had high expectations for Hotel Caesar Augustus because of its reputation, but it ended up being my least favourite hotel of our trip around the Amalfi Coast and Capri.
The biggest positive is undoubtedly the location. It’s within easy walking distance of Anacapri, which we absolutely loved, and the panoramic views are breathtaking. The sunsets from the hotel are spectacular and easily one of the highlights of the stay.
The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the ferry terminal, which was very much appreciated and made arriving and departing straightforward.
Breakfast was excellent, with a generous buffet offering plenty of choice, alongside one freshly cooked dish from the à la carte menu. The freshly squeezed juices were delicious, especially the grapefruit juice made from fruit picked from the hotel’s own grounds.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself felt rather dated and lacked the luxurious feel I was expecting for the price. The check-in experience was rushed and didn’t feel particularly welcoming or personal. I was also disappointed that there wasn’t a shuttle service to and from Capri Town, meaning you need to rely on taxis or public buses if you want to visit frequently.
Our bed was also the smallest we stayed in during our trip around the Amalfi Coast and Capri, and the bed wasn’t especially comfortable, which made for less restful nights.
Overall, while the incredible views, beautiful setting, and proximity to Anacapri are hard to beat, I felt the hotel itself fell short in terms of comfort, service, and value. I would happily return to Anacapri, but next time I would probably choose a different hotel.

El hotel es sin duda espectacular, el personal es muy amable. Las vistas son absolutamente increíbles. La cena en el restaurante muy buena y el desayuno exquisito y muy variado. Cuentan con servicio de recogida desde la parada de ferry.
El gimnasio estaba al aire libre y era muy pequeño, difícil de usar en verano.
