Prime location
Pros:

5 minutes walk from the railway station.
Central location
Hot water in shower.
Cool AC during the hot summer.
Clean rooms.

Cons:

One of the reception staff was rude. It feels like she’s intentionally unfriendly toward us because we’re wearing hijabs.

Pros:

Fantastic hotel - central location to shops, beautiful rooms, fab food, attentive staff but the highlight for me was enjoying breakfast with a spectacular view of Edinburgh Castle. I highly recommend a stay here.

For one day it was good enough for longer period is not good
Pros:

Location is perfect close almost to everything you need see and do in Edinburgh, most key attractions are within 15 minutes walk

Cons:

Two things:

1- Room are not sound proof, if an ant walk in the corridor you will hear it. Let alone hearing TVs of the rooms next to you

2- If you are coming by your own car, good luck. There is even no drop off area to drop your luggage. Nearest parking is 15 minutes away.

A fab room in a great location and the breakfast was amazing

Marks and Spencer getting their deliveries at 2.30am but for the location a degree of city centre noise has to be expected
