Hot water went off so cold shower one morning , airconditioning was not turned on , we thought we didn’t know how to use it, that happen for 2 nights , we stayed an extra night sì was ok then

We stayed here our last night in Rome, arrived pretty late, and were pleasantly surprised that we'd been upgraded to a suite. We had dinner on the rooftop. The view is, indeed, lovely. The food and wine were good. The room was lovely and large. The bed was extremely comfortable. We couldn't figure out the A/C, but the evening temperature was so nice, we just opened the windows. Front desk staff allowed a late check out (1 pm) for a 50 euro fee, which we took advantage of so we could clean up before our international 12-hr flight. Taxi access in front of the hotel was easy. Proximity to Colosseum was ideal. Lots of excellent food options available nearby.
We felt that even though the dining/bar hours were provided to us and we arrived before those times, that the staff were a little unhappy that we had shown up. We ate quickly and had a swift after dinner drink, but there was definitely some tension amongst the staff with getting folks out of the bar area before the close.
No hot water, mold in shower. Very old carpet. Couldn't adjust ac. Musty smell in room. Not happy at all especially for the price.....
