Pros:

The location was perfect for our trip. We loved the pool as it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Could have added more sugar packets and more regular coffee pods in the rooms

No longer a “new” hotel
Pros:

I’ve stayed here twice in the last year and both times the smell inside the rooms was extremely unpleasant. It was a mix of dog and smelly feet. Carpets need to be cleaned. This hotel gets a lot of traffic due to proximity to I-10 so although it isn’t very old, it’s beginning to show its age. If smells bother you, stay away.

Don’t stay here!
Pros:

Location is halfway point in my travels so I wanted to try and stay here

Cons:

Hidden fees for pet rate! Initially quoted $70 for the night then it turned into $75 plus tax. Called and inquired about it, got the runaround and also told “you’re complaining over $10.85?” I don’t like being insulted about hidden fees and if your made a mistake and misquoted the rate and didn’t mention the added taxes admit that.

Beautiful hotel with Mountain views!!
Pros:

This Hampton Inn is just as classy and polished as the hotel’s reputation. The location is conveniently just off I-10. It sits atop a hill within walking distance of Tucson Premium Outlets. Unfortunately, it’s not within walking distance of any restaurants (unless the meager options at the outlet mall are actually open, which they usually aren’t).

But it looks like Tucson’s urban sprawl is beginning to create development in the area in mid-2026. So perhaps more eateries are coming. You sure get a beautiful view of the mountains from nearly any room. And the breakfast is fabulous as always.

Had better experiences here in the past.
Pros:

Location was great, breakfast was good, and the room was ok.

Cons:

First time having issues upon checking in. Completed pre check in so all I needed was to show my ID and get access to my digital key. It seemed as if the front desk person has never had to deal with this situation before which was surprising. Didn’t think it would be so complicated.
