Pros:

Breakfast was good. Room was clean and had what we needed.

Cons:

The WiFi wasnt working and the TV was also not in working condition. Channels weren’t working and remote didn’t work either to turn it off. Had to turn off from tv directly. There was no actual pool, only a small jacuzzi which was misleading from the pictures online. When I checked in, I was asked for an additional 50 dollar deposite after I had already made my full payment online. Then I was asked if I had a vehicle and I said yes and was given a parking pass. After checkout I was told that I was only getting 40 dollars back from the deposite because parking was 10 dollars which I wasn’t told from the start.

Fantastic overnight stay, wish we’d had longer
Pros:

Fantastic location just off the freeway but close to all amenities. Lovely homely feel
Tyler on reception was amazing, so friendly and helpful and polite, a credit to the place

Convenient location with rude employees
Pros:

Hello, this is for the general manager. You really need to hire employees that actually want to work at your facility. During our entire state, every single employee was not very friendly, almost to the point of being rude, because clearly they do not want to be at the Hyatt Pl., Santa Barbara. Our stay was actually quite nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was OK and the parking in elevator was convenient and easy to use. However, our stay would have been enhanced had we had friendly service. We don’t need to have conversations with the employees just have a thank you and maybe “enjoy your stay.”

Prison Place
Pros:

It’s the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. They gave us their”best” room with a view that had the view of the intersection. Windows don’t open and rooms have no oxygen. The worst part are the old and saggy matters. The first night we had to get matters topper memory foam and did not do anything. The TV has wrong channel information. Basically you are staying in a fancy prison. The front desk staff are either arrogant or unhelpful.
For the expensive price you are paying nothing worth.

Overall a very nice experience. The hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient to everything. The attached parking garage is a safe option when driving.

Look for other options. Don't pay extra for breakfast.
Pros:

When we booked our family vacation for four rooms (separate booking) and the high rates we paid, we expected a much better experience. While not an experience of a 5 star hotel but surely not a 2-star hotel.

Room was clean. Linen looked like they were washed. Staff accommodated our request for having all 4 rooms on the same floor.

Rest was underwhelming. Breakfast items were minimal. Pancakes and waffles were worst. Charging extra for poor quality is not right.

Bathrooms were ok. No exhaust and door lock didn’t work. Water was not always warm. Curtains were a bit dirty and water kept coming out.

Parking was inconvenient.

This was like a 2-star hotel/motel experience.

Not staying again.

Clean location.
Pros:

If there was free WIFI, no one mentioned this option at check out. the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We've stayed at other Hyatt locations and water was provide at initial check in. That would of been a plus.

Cons:

While the location is nice, surprised the front desk staff did not mirror the "look" of quality the hotel is.
