Great stay for kids/families - NOT a couples retreat
Pros:

I liked the location on the beach, and the room with balcony was nice.

Great pool

Mini mart in the hotel

Cons:

There is major construction happening next door.

Unruly mobs of young children roaming un supervised

Pros:

Breakfast here was of the charts. Everything i tried(and it was alot) was of good or top quality.

Also very accomodating staff

Cons:

Some stuff was abit old and could have been replaced or fixed. But everything essential worked and was clean.

Good stay, wouldn’t book again.
Pros:

We liked the pool, we liked the breakfast, the rooms were clean and nice to relax in. The air con all worked. The staff were lovely, especially Joy and Sally at reception. They were very helpful in trying to get babysitters and going out of their way to WhatsApp.

Cons:

The kids club is not as advertised. It’s old, worn and dirty. Also cannot leave kids there. Have to watch them yourself. The resort itself is old and tired. Many empty spaces.

The breakfast was very good, staff were lovely.

Cons:

Some areas looked very tierd and dated. Rusty railings. Balcony not usable not wide enough to sit out on, No seating on balcony to enjoy the view. Definitely not a 5 star mabye 3.5. At the most.

The breakfast was phenominal. The 2 bedroom family room had super comfy beds.

Cons:

The price of the food and drinks at the bar. Already in the higher price range then when you go to pay/check out they add on a service charge per item and then a 10% tax on top of that.
Whilst the pool look very inviting due to the shallow depth the water as very warm, too warm to stay in for any period of time, it wasn't refreshing at all.

Flott bassengområde, og fin leilighet.

Cons:

Spisesalen minnet om et flyplassområde, kjempestort og støyende.
Den fine leiligheten hadde verdens minste veranda.

Familietur til The Pearl
Pros:

Likte leiligheten, den var romslig med to soverom og to bad. Nydelig utsikt med hav-og bassengutsikt. Rolig anlegg og fantastisk med butikker og spisesteder på anlegget. Det var lett å få tak i solsenger og personalet var fantastisk hvor de alltid var smilende og behagelige. Fin strand og lett å komme seg til og fra gamlebyen. Vil også nevne at det var veldig gode spa fasiliteter og du fikk time når du måtte ønske. Vi likte oss veldig godt på The Pearl og kommer til å anbefale Hotellet til andre som skal til Vietnam

Cons:

Frokostsalen er det mye lyd da det er et stort rom med dårlig akustikk. Fant dette lite koselig og opplevdes forstyrrende. Derimot var utvalget bra.
På anlegget kan vi også se at det en gang i tiden var fylt med mange butikker. Flere av disse er ikke i drift og det kan kjennes litt spøkelsesaktig da det er mange nedlagte butikklokaler i anlegget.

The Prarl is excellent, will definitely stay again!
Pros:

The Pearl had everything I needed. Swimming Pool, beach, good food, tennis and staff were very attentive. Told them it was my wife’s birthday and they decorated the room. Wife loved it and was cheap to get it done. Thank you to all the staff at The Pearl.

Cons:

Entertainment at night would have been good.

Excellent resort for families on a budget.
Pros:

Excellent resort for families on a budget.
Huge swimming pool with shallow areas in the shade for kids to play safely. A couple of water slides for the kids too.
Lots of pool activities to enjoy like water jets, floaties and water walking on inflatable.

The private beach is gorgeous, really well maintained. Huge grass lawn with lots of shade again great for little kids - we have a 9 month old and 4 year old, they both loved it!

Room was a decent size and the hotel added both an additional bed for our 4 year old and a crib for our baby.

We stayed for 4 nights and got a free delicious afternoon tea set for 2. Super nice surprise!

Breakfast was decent as well.

Cons:

- Pool bar food menu was pretty limited - lacked vegetarian and healthier options
- the beach ‘closed’ at 6pm, right when the weather is cooler.
- the resort is huge, a lot of big empty space and quite a far walk to the beach from the room. (Make sure you pack everything in your bag so you don’t need to make trips back to your hotel room)
