No accountability, they ruined our last days in Ibiza.
Pros:

This hotel is, at best, a 3-star property charging 5-star prices. At approximately €860 per night, I expected exceptional service and accommodations. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

The location is extremely inconvenient. The hotel is far from most attractions, and transportation is expensive and difficult to arrange. The rooms are smaller than pictures elude.

We waited an hour and a half for a taxi at the port, only for the ride to the hotel to take seven minutes and cost €8. Ride-share pricing was also unreasonable, with one five-minute trip quoted at €87.

The biggest disappointment was the concierge service. We booked a sunset boat tour through the hotel for €100. The concierge instructed us to arrive at 7:00 p.m. We arrived at 7:01 p.m., and there was no boat in sight. No one from the boat company or the hotel contacted us. We asked several people at the dock, and they all confirmed that no boat had been there for quite some time.

While waiting at the marina, we spoke with other boat operators and discovered that there were far better options available. Many yacht tours cost only €60–€80 and included 3.5-hour excursions with drinks, dinner, and a much nicer experience. The tour we booked through the hotel was €100 for a small, older boat with a shorter itinerary. We felt misled and overcharged.

When we called the concierge, they were dismissive and immediately blamed us for arriving one minute late. They then had the owner of the boat company call us to argue, claiming we should have arrived 30 minutes early—something we were never told. The hotel never arranged transportation, provided directions, or explained that we needed to arrive earlier than the scheduled departure time. They actually insisted how close and easy getting there would be.

Only after we threatened to leave a review For the boat company did they agree to issue a refund. The concierge tried to take credit for us being refunded which they had no part in.

Afterward, we read reviews of the boat company and found numerous complaints from other customers describing similar experiences, including boats not showing up, refunds being denied, and customers being falsely told they had missed the departure. It’s disappointing that a hotel charging luxury prices would recommend a vendor with such a poor reputation.

When the hotel called us during the incident, they promised they would “make it right” when we returned. Instead, all we received was an apology, excuses, and repeated attempts to shift the blame onto us. No gesture of goodwill, compensation, or effort to recover the experience was offered.

This was our last day on the island, and we had planned our entire itinerary around this boat excursion. Instead, we wasted a day, spent over two hours waiting at the marina, searching for a boat that never came, and then trying to find transportation back. And we’re not attended to properly upon return. We were so distressed we called it a night. It completely ruined the end of our vacation.

This hotel did not deliver a luxury experience. The breakfast was good, although it was only served during a short two-hour window, and the pool area was nice.

Overall, this is not a 5-star hotel. The accommodations are average, the service is disappointing, and the concierge’s handling of our situation fell far below expectations. Between the poor service, overpriced amenities, inconvenient location, and lack of accountability, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Ontbijt was zeer goed, jammer dat je moet bijbetalen voor sommige producten

Cons:

De oppervlakte van de kamer, de mogelijkheid om kleren op te bergen, verlichting in toilet die s'nachts volledig aan springt op moment dat je eigenlijk in het duister wil blijven.

Wonderful adult only pool and gorgeous comfy sunbeds! Staff so friendly, and the best club sandwich I’ve ever had!!

Cons:

The room was quite small for the money, and bit noisy as it overlooked the restaurant which had music going til quite late.

This wasn’t my first stay at OKU Ibiza, which made this experience even more disappointing. I ordered room service, but after waiting 1.5 hours, my food still hadn’t arrived. When I called to ask about my order, the employee was rude and hung up on me before I could finish speaking. I had to call back to complete the conversation.

For a 5-star hotel charging premium rates, this level of service is unacceptable. Although the hotel tried to make things right afterwards, the interaction was unprofessional and disrespectful.
