Pros:

Nothing redeeming to say about our interactions with the Excelsior!!

Cons:

They made no attempt to contact us when we didn’t arrive for our “first” night. Nor our “second” night. Nor our “third” night. The dates we thought we had booked were switched at the last moment of the booking process and remained unnoticed by us until we arrived on the date we expected to stay. No consideration from the Excelsior.. Very dissatisfied with both the hotel response. Munich was busy that weekend and I assume they would have had no difficulty booking the room and they would neither confirm or deny the rebooked when we didn’t show up.

I recommend this hotel. I would stay there again.
Pros:

The room was very clean and very comfortable and spacious.
The staff was very very friendly. The location was very good very close to public transportation.

Pros:

Everything was perfect. You can not ask for a better hotel near the train station and public transit. Plan on staying here for my next trip in a few weeks.

Our score is based on the fact that our room wasn’t air conditioned and that it faced the walks of 3 buildings so absolutely no air could come in. Much hotter than the temperature outside

Ein Hotel in die Jahre gekommen

Leider können wir dieses Hotel überhaupt nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren bereits vor rund zehn Jahren hier und mussten feststellen, dass sich seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt praktisch nichts verändert hat. Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Gänge zu den Zimmern riechen stark muffig, die Teppiche sind voller Flecken und der gesamte Zustand wirkt ungepflegt und renovationsbedürftig.

Besonders enttäuschend war das Frühstück. Die Auswahl ist sehr klein und die angebotenen Produkte sind von billiger und minderwertiger Qualität. Zudem muss man sehr lange auf Bestellungen warten, was den Frühstücksservice zusätzlich verschlechtert. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie hätten wir deutlich mehr Qualität, Frische und Auswahl erwartet.

Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns überhaupt nicht. Schade, denn wir hatten gehofft, dass sich in den letzten zehn Jahren etwas verbessert hätte. Leider war dies nicht der Fall. Wir würden dieses Hotel daher niemandem empfehlen.

Cons:

Wir buchen dieses Hotel seit Jahren. Bedauerlicherweise wurden wir nun zum zweiten Mal sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Darüber hinaus war die Zimmertemperatur viel zu hoch. Um in ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage zu wechseln – von denen mehrere frei waren – mussten wir lange diskutieren. Schließlich wurde uns gegen eine Gebühr von 100 Euro ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage zur Verfügung gestellt. Leider mussten wir nachträglich feststellen, dass uns auf der Rechnung eine Gebühr in Höhe von 150 Euro abgebucht wurde. Wir werden uns künftig nach einer anderen Unterkunft in München umsehen müssen.

Not that great.
Pros:

Nothing was free.... It was too hot, no ac, bed had insects probably came from the open window.
There wasn't even a coffee maker in the room so no tea etc.
Bed was single, just one bed.
I am a gold with hilton and platinum with bonvoy, i found that very odd.

Pros:

Merkeze yakınlığı çok iyi, metro hemen önünde. Odada buzdolabı var ancak suyu vs. her şeyi ücretli satıyorlar. Bir kahve makinası koymak kimsenin aklına gelmemiş.

Cons:

Aşırı eski bir otel, bu rahatsız etmiyor ancak odada klima olmaması, vantilatör koyulmuş olması ve gece aşırı sıcak olmasından kaynaklı sabaha kadar çalıştırdığım için burnum tıkandı. Odanın manzarası yok arka bahçeye, odalar odalara bakıyor, aşırı sıkıcı. TV 20” bir monitör, hiç açmadım. Çarşafta hafif bir ıslak kokusu vardı. Ve bu otelde 2 gece 1000.€ ya kaldım, geceliği 500€ resepsiyona söylediğimde klasik odalarımızdan seçmişsiniz dediler, ben böyle olduğunu bilsem, görsel kabul eder miydim.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit tollerVinothek in schwieriger Umgebung.
Pros:

Zentrale Lage Nähe Hauptbahnhof sowie Stachus, Klimaanlage, großzügiges Bad, Minibars (2!), Vinothek nebenan mit sehr gutem Essen

Cons:

Lage: zentral gelegen aber ringsum wird so ziemlich alles abgerissen bzw. kernsaniert...Umfeld schwierige Klientel
