Great location and really good feel about it. We felt very welcomed on arrival and very well looked after. The continental breakfast selections were excellent.

Me and my Husband came too stay and was pleasantly surprised at geat location welcoming host 😊 very cool art style and nice and private.Loved the woolen blanket and very warm room. Nice and clean as well.
Could hear people in the hallway but that's outside of hosts control.

Desayuno libre con bastante variedad. Te elegis lo que deseas y lo armas a tu gusto. No esperen un desayuno 5 estrellas pero funciona muy bien!
Que el hotel se apaga post 7 pm. Estaria bueno que tengan abierto el bar o el lobby para mas huespedes. Post 7 pm es cuando la gente vuelve de las actividades y cuando mas lindo es ver el hotel con gente y vivo.

Lady at the front desk was so warm and welcoming, made our stay a treat! Facilities were impeccable - great cleanliness and lovely lounge. Was nice to have space outside of the rooms, and the opportunity to mingle with other guests.
No complaints! Maybe outline parking recommendations in booking confirmations? But otherwise was seamless x
We loved the style of the Poshotel and enjoyed talking to the owner who was hosting during our stay. It was quiet, the rooms were immaculate and we loved the breakfast set up and choices. It's very close to Countdown so it's also easy to stock up on whatever you need for your travels.
Some people might want dedicated parking though in a town like Oamaru it's not a big deal. If the bar could be staffed it would make more of the communal space (which is lovely) and the offerings in Oamaru are limited nearby for bars etc but I think that's more to do with getting suitable staff than not seeing the opportunity.

Fantastic helpful staff. Loved the theme details of the hotel and the room (very appropriate considering we were in town for Steampunk festival). The breakfast was amazing! Fresh bagels, local cheeses, local full cream milk, fruit galore, excellent cereal and home-made muffins. And of course freshly brewed coffee! Our room had its own entrance and off street park right outside. We will definitely stay again next year for the festival.
