We chose this hotel largely because the pool was one of the main amenities we wanted our children to enjoy. The way this situation was handled borders on fraudulent conduct. I received an email only a couple of hours before check-in—when it was no longer possible to cancel my reservation—informing me that the pool was closed for maintenance and that my children would not be able to use it. I believe situations like this should be communicated well in advance, not at a point when guests no longer have the opportunity to cancel and choose another hotel.

Great location and facility, with a parking twist
Pros:

The facility itself was good and the location was perfect. However, the hotel parking lot was under construction and looked like it had been that way for quite some time. Since we were driving UTVs, the initial parking setup was a bit uncomfortable for us. Thankfully, on the second day, we were offered spaces in the underground parking lot, which was perfect.

Clean. AC in room worked well. There is a microwave, coffee maker, and small fridge in the room.

Cons:

No beach access. You will have to get in your car and drive to where there is beach access; I do not believe it is within walking distance. No balcony. Staff somewhat friendly. The whole experience was okay.

La habitación es de buen tamaño y es cómoda.

Cons:

El edificio está como a medio construir, el estacionamiento hasta peligroso, porque hay varillas expuestas. El baño súper pequeño y no tiene puerta que cierre de verdad. La ubicación no es ideal si quieres visitar el centro de Ensenada.

The location was convenient.

Cons:

The hotel did not match the photos on Booking.com. The listing was misleading. My room overlooked an active construction site that was not shown in the advertisement. The pool area was poorly maintained, with damaged and uneven decking that appeared unsafe. The staff was also rude, especially during breakfast, and they were not welcoming or helpful. I contacted Booking.com during my stay, but the responses took about 24 hours each, making it impossible to resolve the issue before my check-out.

Cons:

We had to ask for towels, they didn’t replace our towels as stated, we had to ask for toilet paper. Rooftop deck was in bad repair, door was crooked and deadbolt Would not engage. There were no condiments for oir coffee. Coffee machine was dirty with old coffee grounds residue.
