It was only just OK for our one night stay.
Pros:

Reasonable by car access to the ferry port

Cons:

It could do with a good makeover and a good clean.

Shabby
Pros:

I liked the friendly welcome. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel is shabby and the communal areas including the bar and restaurant were not very clean. Dirty carpets, sticky tables and chairs. Breakfast was not good, burnt toast, runny omelette and our cereal was brought with the hot food. Our room was basic and definitely not recently refurbished as described on the booking site.

The room and restaurant are a bit tired. The price is a bit high given the condition of the room and restaurant.
