I had noise all night friday from room number 6. Loud chatting laughing and TV

Loud noise and music Saturday night shouting and banging walls and left at 10.30pm to return home as I couldn't get no sleep

Cheap and cheerful

Bath unusable i.e. plug didn't work.
Toilet loose.Very poor flow in shower.
Decor tired and needs attention.

Cons:

The bathroom mould around the bath , peeling paintwork on bath panel, floor in bedroom felt very weak. Came back at 8pm for a drink bar was shut, went next door to smiths hotel which was open.

Friendly staff but no entertainment so can’t see us going back again

Didn’t have breakfast in the price we ate dinner which was good pub was disappointing as it closed by 8 30

Cons:

Didn’t like the 40 stairs as we were on the top floor location was good and car parking included

Don’t waste your money. It is shocking.
Pros:

The bed was big and comfy and the view was wonderful. One member of staff (male) who had worked there for a long time was friendly and helpful. Carried the case up the stairs.

Cons:

We stayed in October for my 50th birthday. We paid more to upgrade to a better room which was shocking. We were on the top floor and had to climb 3 flights of stairs. Opened the door to a nice big room but it went downhill from there. The bathroom was very dated and dirty. The shower water was freezing and nothing special about it. They did not offer any food after 8pm. This was due to no custom. The place was deserted. I wouldn’t bay £10 to stay there again let alone over £100. I don’t usually write a bad review about a place, but you can get so much more for your money than this. It needs a revamp and proper staffing, entertainment and customer service. I felt sorry for the poor man who worked there and I don’t think the room had had a proper clean since the last unfortunate person who stayed there. Such a shame as the location is amazing and it has parking and a bar. Marston’s you have let us down. They need to get their act together.

Needs updating but enjoyed our stay
