Nice room and bathroom
Went for breakfast on first morning of my stay, but after the 1 staff member I saw said 'hello' he disappeared and so after waiting 10 mins to order a cooked breakfast, I left. Did not bother trying again on other 3 mornings
Overall a great experience
Nothing
Central location, right across from Abbey. Decent pub.
Showers could do with a bit of extra pressure and sprucing up.
Easy to find and right in the centre of town with parking at the rear.
The staff were friendly and the food tasty and inexpensive
All was good
Every thing that I needed
Just perfect place to stay
Nothing
The noise is unbelievable, the heat in the rooms unbreathable. The fag smoke from the pub and young drinking below until late is awful. The Abbey bells all night. The blocked sink drain in the basin was horrible
Ideally located, just opposite the abbey. Excellent breakfast included in the price, and evening food was generally very good as well. Staff always very pleasant and amenable.
Room had peeling wallpaper and the towels were dirty, encrusted with what looked like glue. Shower curtain had a big brown stain on it. Needs a good freshening up.
location was perfect and good parking.
a little dated and could do with some TLC
great local nice pub friendly nice breakfast
Good location, parking, friendly staff
No noise from the pub downstairs
Room and bathroom a little tired, ( flaking paint and bathroom needs re grouting) however had an excellent nights sleep and it was very clean.
Central location for exploring the area.
Large, comfortable bed.
Friendly, welcoming staff.
Chose this venue as parking was available.
Nice view of the Abbey, especially in the evening when illuminated.
Plenty of good options for eating
The bathroom was an awkward layout with the radiator opposite the toilet.
Nothing else to report on
The cost for a single room at over £100 per night is excessive and should include breakfast. The decor in the room is tired and shabby with scruffy wallpaper
Room rate didn't include breakfast
Shabby decor
