Please note that the half board meal plan will not be available on the 24th and 31st of December. During these days the Grande Hotel do Porto will provide special menus that should be reserved in advance.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this great hotel in beautiful Porto .
Pros:

Location fabulous ,beautiful old building , lovely and clean rooms , Excellent breakfast .

Cons:

Weren’t allowed to take a cup of coffee from the dining room at breakfast !!
The bar shut too early !!

Pros:

This Hotel was amazing, when entering the hotel you feel as though you are stepping back in time. The hotel is a must if you visiting Porto. The customer service is first class ,from the reception , housekeeping and catering staff, so profesional. I would say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The bedrooms provide coffee making machine, fridge, and are decorated to a very high standard , very confortable. The restaurante is located on the ground floor , very spacious and the breakfast was excellent so much to choose from and good quality.I would highly recomed this hotel it ticks all the boxes, I would like to say a big thankyou to all the staff for maling this an enjoyable and memorable stay.You and the hotel amazing.

Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé. J'ai pu tout faire à pied. La chambre, bien que petite, était très confortable et bien équipée, et surtout très calme (bonne isolation phonique). Le personnel était très sympathique et à l'écoute.

Pros:

Great location, classic older hotel in the historic district. Super friendly helpful staff. Clean, quiet, comfortable with excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay
Pros:

My husband and I loved Grande Hotel do Porto! It is located in a prime location right on Rue Catarina, an awesome street filled with cafe’s, restaurants, shops, Mercado and many more. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, especially Ricardo & Antonio always attending to our needs. They are assets to the hotel- definitely! And the housekeeping staff was on it as well as the registration desk. We enjoyed the morning breakfast with much to choose from- and if you need a laundromat it’s right up the street! One of the best things I liked was stepping into the Casa do Chocolate right there within the hotel. I highly recommend Grande Hotel do Porto. It is beautiful!

Magnifique hôtel très bien entretenue et proche du centre.
Pros:

L’emplacement au centre ville et la beauté de l’hôtel ancien de plus de 140 ans. Le personnel très aimables à l’accueil.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner qui aurait pu être plus riche de choix et le personnel manquait un peu de sourire…
