La posizione certamente strategica a due passi dal mare e dal centro e’ il plus.
La migliore posizione per Nizza. Buona la colazione e gentili tutte le ragazze della sala colazione e il personale sui piani cosi come una signora della reception con la quale abbiamo fatto check out.
Molto deluso dall’accoglienza sin dal check in. Premetto di non essere abituato a fare delle recensioni negative ma in questi casi la scelta dell’hotel è il prezzo pagato per una notte di oltre 550 euro giustificavano in aspettativa molto alta che non è stata minimamente ripagata. L’hotel si trova ed è stato da noi scelto perché si presentava al pari di strutture che sono nella zona (Meridian, Park Avenue, West…) ma che nulla hanno a che vedere con il servizio altamente scarso offerto da
Questo Mercure. La struttura non è semplice da trovare perché l’insegna è molto piccola e in una via angusta. In pratica la struttura si colloca ai primi 3 piani del palazzo in larga parte occupato dal Meridien. Non esiste servizio valigie all’arrivo ne’ un servizio car valet per parcheggiare la macchina. Così mentre mia moglie si scaricava le valigie da sola, sono stato dirottato in un parcheggio pubblico con un foglietto volante che mi dava sommarie informazioni. Ho espresso con educazione le mie rimostranze alla mancanza di un servizio valigie (soffro di plurime ernie discali) e mi è stato risposto di scrivere al Mercure.
Nel mentre che andavo a parcheggiare in un parking pubblico, nonostante la struttura avesse la carta a garanzia di Booking, non è stato consentito a mia moglie di accedere alla camera effettuando il ckeck in. Le camere sono nuove e appena ristrutturate ma con un arredamento e uno stile molto semplice a basico. Nel frigo bar non c’era una bottiglia di acqua naturale o gassata ma per prendere da bere occorre andare nei corridoi dove c’è un dispenser. Una struttura da 3 stelle. Reduci da Cannes dove abbiamo pagato meno per un servizio assolutamente top e soddisfacente siamo rimasti davvero delusi e sconcertati.
