Basic budget hostel in Shinjuku
Pros:

Basic budget hostel Shinjuku. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower water pressure was great.

Cons:

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience overall.

The room that we got was in the back on the first floor with a single window facing a wall with no natural light, which is not what is shown on the booking.com photos. The other window had been covered over with the TV. We asked the manager to change the room, but it was not possible.

The rooms are really small and good for just crashing at night and having a shower the next day. There is no person at the front desk ( automated check in ) and so if you have an issue, it takes time to contact the management.

The location is not great, it is about a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku station. Would recommend paying a little more and finding a place closer to the station and main shopping / restaurant area.

Pros:

The mattresses and the pillows were super comfortable, plenty of soft, fluffy towels. Huge beds, huge bathroom, nice deep bath.

Cons:

When we arrived the room wasn't clean. After asking the member of staff to clean it, however, they did so and after that everything was OK.
