Pros:

I like the location and room looks quite nice.Breakfast was good and staff in restaurant was nice

Cons:

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The shower only had cold water during my stay. I informed the reception and was told the issue would be resolved, but nothing changed.

The bed linen looked dirty and seemed like it had not been changed properly. Overall, the hotel feels poorly maintained and not well organised.

The reception staff were also very slow, which made the experience less pleasant.

Another downside was the beach next to the hotel, which was not very clean.

This hotel has potential, but there are several areas that need improvement. I hope the management pays more attention to maintenance, cleanliness, and guest service.

Pros:

Onze eerste kennismaking met Sri Lanka. Erg warm ontvangst, lief personeel en goed eten. Goede airco, ruime kamer met prachtig uitzicht op de zee. Lift aanwezig en parkeerplek voor de auto op het strand.

Bestill fra à la carte, middagsbuffet og frokostbuffet var ikke så fresht.
Pros:

Rommene var store og fine - mye for pengene. Hyggelige ansatte i restauranten. Fin utsikt mot havet.

Cons:

Kaldt vann i dusj. Vi bestilte også suite med pool, vannet var kaldt der også. Ikke aircondition i gangene, varmt og fuktig. Fuktig lukt på rommene. Enkelte av de ansatte i resepsjonen var lite servicevennlige.

Excellent stay at Pledge Scape!
Pros:

We had a great stay at Pledge Scape. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful and really helped make our stay more enjoyable! We just wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Avevamo prenotato una suite con piscina privata vista mare per godere dell’ultima serata in Srilanka avendo l’aereo all’alba e chiamato per avvisare saremmo arrivati nel pomeriggio per il check in. Mentre ci stavamo recando alla struttura, ci arriva una chiamata della stessa che ci informava la nostra suite non fosse più disponibile in quanto la piscina sarebbe stata rotta dagli ospiti precedenti. Strano, dal momento che i check out vengono effettuati in mattinata e la camera doveva quindi essere già pronta e controllata da un pezzo. Abbiamo comunque concesso il beneficio del dubbio e ci siamo recati in loco per vedere la suite che ci proponevano in sostituzione (sostenendo fosse di un “livello” più alto). Niente da dire, camera pulita, moderna e spaziosa sicuramente ma noi avevamo prenotato all’interno della struttura per un altro tipo di sistemazione che offriva un servizio aggiuntivo (la piscina) rispetto a quella mostrataci. Se ci fosse stato realmente un problema saremmo stati comprensivi, ma dal momento che avevamo richiesto di visionare comunque la camera con piscina e non ci è stato concesso non abbiamo ritenuto necessario esserlo. Perché, se la piscina era rotta e non ci alloggiava nessuno, non potevamo vederla? Ognuno tragga le proprie conclusioni. Ce ne siamo andati e abbiamo trovato una struttura nettamente migliore in cui lo staff non fa sentire i clienti (che pagano per un servizio) presi in giro.
