Renovations means no amenities or valet parking open
Location was very convenient.
The renovation sound was very loud and uncomfortable. Doors are not sound proof, was able to here other doors shutting nearby.
The Grand Hyatt has very quickly become our favourite place to stay in Melbourne. The location on Collins Street is fantastic, the hotel itself feels properly luxurious without being stuffy, and every stay just feels easy from the moment you walk through the doors.
The rooms are comfortable and beautifully presented, the facilities are excellent, and the service has consistently been warm and professional. It’s also perfectly positioned for wandering Melbourne — great restaurants, shopping and plenty of the city within easy walking distance.

It’s under renovation so a lot was not able to be accessed
This is normally my favourite hotel. It has fantastic location and is normally really wonderful. However this time was disappointing.
I arrived at midnight, they had been informed of my late check in and the room wasn't ready. Additionally, it was the wrong room type . It just meant after a long travel day I was left waiting to check in . Baggage clerk didnt collect my bag on arrival.
Breakfast and Location wonderful
Car Park and Pool were unavailable due to renovations - a discount in price would have been a nice gesture.
the room was lovely and very clean and comfortable
the bar was very nice and relaxing and the staff where awesome
i was mislead with the parking , i even called to make sure my car is taken care off when i get there
but when i got there i was told otherwise that there was no valet parking and i had to find my own parking
it was very stressful and not what i was told . you should have some alliance with a carpark for your guests
i managed to park across the road but it cost me 164 dollars ? which I'm sorry is just ridiculous if i had known this i would have left my car at home
