Pool was great for the kids except it closes at ten making it hard to come back to hotel and swim for a decent amount of time, 11 would be better but it was nice. Check in/ out staff and breakfast crew were helpful and friendly.. Location was good, easy to find and quite.
Price was to high for quality of room. Rooms are small , bathroom even smaller. Rooms were in need of some repairs, trim was broken in several spots, tv glitched, and shower drain was clogged causing severe limitations to taking a shower because the tub would fill up fast and not drain. Corners in room and bathroom were dirty.Towels were small and thin. Door to entry A lock iwas broken , no lock at all, security issue. Had a late checkout, and maid staff was rude. Ten minutes before noon they opened the door told them excuse me, we have a late checkout at noon, she said " it's noon " ,it wasn't, and remained at the door until we left, door open,with a mad face. As anyone with young kids you have have a lot of things when you travel, most of our stuff we already loaded, it was odds and ends of things that we were gathering,there was no reason to be rude and stand at the door waiting for us to leave, she could have said oh I'm sorry for opening your door ,( privacy)I'll be back in a bit and let you finish up. Breakfast was the same as most hotels except gravy for biscuits was watery and the eggs were powdered, no meat, mainly oatmeal, bagels and waffles,they did have a great array of beverages to choose from though, and they don't allow you to take food to your room which was inconvenient.

Easy to find off the I90
Had to wait 1/2 hr to check in because they are understaffed and so many other guests kept interrupting asking for things that were absent from their rooms. Dirty room, floor, doors were gross, mould in the shower, that headboard needed to be burned. AC or just the room smelled bad. Not ready when we arrived at 3:30 and had to wait another 1/2 hr. Put us on the top floor when I specifically requested ground. No towels in the room. Request for extra pillows didn’t happen and had to ask. Crack addicts in the parking lot. You have about 1/16th of an inch play in the shower between luke warm and scald. Rusty non-working light fixtures in the bath but I can only load 4 photos.

Sink wouldn't drain. Ac blew very mildew air. Cigarette butts under the bed, bath faucet was loose. No coffee in room had to go get some from the maid. Toilet seat was loose and bath fan cover was falling off the wall.
Staff was great. Loved the breakfast.

Our shower didn't work, the lady on reception was really good gave us another room to move to we went in and they were in the middle of maybe renovating the room so we just used the shower and stayed in our room.

I stayed at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Billings while I was in town for work, and this experience caused me unnecessary stress at a time when I was already managing travel expenses. I checked out before 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4—well before the 11:00 a.m. checkout time. I packed my belongings, turned in my room keys, told the morning staff I was leaving and received a checkout email. Despite that, I was charged an additional $85 for another night that I did not stay at the hotel.
I book my rooms through the Wyndham app because I use my points and discounted rates. I did not authorize a new reservation for the night after I checked out. Based on what I have been told, it appears a staff member may have created another reservation without clearly communicating it to me or the morning staff. I had already moved to another hotel and had no knowledge that another reservation had been placed under my name.
I have spent two days trying to get this corrected, but every time I call, I receive a different answer. I was told the manager would be available at 3:00 p.m., only to call back and learn that no manager would be there. Instead of treating an unauthorized charge seriously, the staff have repeatedly brushed me off and passed the responsibility to someone else.
This is not just a minor inconvenience. I am traveling for work, and having $85 taken from my account for a room I did not use has placed me in a difficult position. What makes it worse is the lack of urgency, accountability and consistent communication from the hotel.
The room itself also had problems. The jacuzzi did not work, the restroom fan did not work the photos are not updated so the rooms are extrememly small, and several other things needed attention. However, the most serious issue is being charged for a night after I properly checked out and then being unable to reach anyone willing to resolve it. I am requesting a full refund of the unauthorized $85 charge. Travelers should carefully review their statements and reservations after staying at this location. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
The lady at the front desk was sweet but thats the only positive I have to say.
Room was dirty, there were bugs and broken class in the bed. The bed felt like laying on cardboard. There was hair all over in the shower/sink
