one night was enough..did feel safe
Pros:

beds and pillows were fine.
shower was updated

Cons:

wall air conditioner was loud and rattly
room was small for 2 queen beds
desk chair too big
towels were gray and had holes

Want great but served it purpose.
Pros:

Walking distance to the Greek Theatre on the Cal Berkeley campus. We had concert tickets and wanted something close. The bathroom was clean.

Cons:

Not a great part of town. Wasn’t really kept up very well. Chips in the paint and black dirt and scuff marks on the walls and doors. Homeless ( I assume) yelling outside in middle of the night.

A good hotel at the price in a convenient location near UCB
Pros:

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was easy. The hotel is an easy walk to local restaurants and markets. All in all a good experience for the cost, solid value.

Cons:

The room was a little small and the pressure from the tap at the sink wasn't great, but the shower was good. Noise from the outside was prominent at times

Clean, comfortable, friendly hotel.
Pros:

Great location within walking distance to UC Berkeley and Trader Joe’s. This hotel also has parking.

Cons:

No reflection on the property, however Berkeley has a terrible homelessness problem with people sleeping and popping everywhere.

No breakfast room. View onto car parking.
Cons:

There was no space to sit down for breakfast. Not inside, not outside. Not even a bench. One thus has to carry breakfast into the room and sit on the bed or at the tiny desk.

We demand a full refund and serious reprimand to management and owners. Safety issues!!!
Cons:

We had NO electricity in our bathroom. NO lights and the electrical outlets did not work. We told the staff after check in. They did nothing.

It was comfortable, clean,and suited our purposes.
Pros:

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient for moving our daughter into her dorm at Berkeley. Decor was a fun take on mid-century modern.

Cons:

We walked to dinner and when we came back there was not a single space available. Had we taken the car we would not have had parking. There is limited parking on site so just be aware of that if you have a car to park.
