Exceeded my expectations: super kind staff
Pros:

I had the BEST experience as a guest at Counting House! I can't say enough nice words. To begin, my flight was scheduled to arrive around midnight. I let the front desk know via Booking message and they immediately reassured me there'd be someone waiting for me to check-in. I also called them by phone to double check and the lady at the front desk was super kind and helpful. Once I landed in the UK, I received a text from a member of their staff, Constantin, asking about my ETA to be ready to greet me at the door. Although my flight got delayed a bit and I arrived around 1AM, Constantin was waiting at reception and helped me check-in and carried my luggage to the room. He made me feel safe and welcome. The hotel also left complimentary snacks in the room, which was beautiful and in pristine condition. The young lady at the front desk the morning I checked-out was also very kind. Location is great, very central. Note that there is a small elevator that takes you to the main floor, but I did notice the building has many short flights of stairs so it might be hard to move around for someone with mobility issues. If that's not your case, this is a fantastic hotel and I'll continue staying here in future trips. Thanks to all the staff!

Immaculate stay!
Pros:

Everything was great - the staff, the room, the location, the connecting pub and the breakfast included option. Loved the ambience of the place too. The room was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in, better than high end hotels, everything has immaculate architecture and detail - love it!

Cons:

I would have probably liked to spend longer here!

Great bank conversion to bar and hotel, brilliant location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Beautiful building and decoration. Rooms quiet and relaxing. Bar great and breakfasts were really tasty too. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Lovely location, whilst in a quieter area of the city at the weekend, it's still excellent location for either walking to many areas of catching the tube.

Cons:

A kettle in the room would be great. You can use the coffee machine for hot water, but unless you run a cup through first to clear the previous coffee, everything tastes of coffee still. Not a major thing....just a recommended nice to have.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Pros:

Our Check-in was easy and Sarah was so kind and friendly getting us checked in and settled. The breakfast was wonderful. They provide a menu with fully cooked to order meals in addition to a table of fruits, toast, meats and cheeses, yogurt etc. We had great service provided by Kimberly.

Cons:

Car transportation was challenging for our rides. The front of the hotel had limited times for vehicles to make access. The buses were able to use the roadway but not the drivers we used for drop off and pick-up. This may be temporary due to construction in the area.

Tout, le pub est magnifique et l’hôtel très beau, très confortable, facile d’accès et bien situé.
