Basic, cheap hotel.

Overall, my stay was comfortable and I will book again, if allowed to check in earlier.
Pros:

I was allowed to check in earlier than my check in time. As I was working remotely that day, it enabled me get my job done comfortably. The free car parking facility also played a part in choosing to book the Hunt.

Cons:

The sink in the room i stayed (Room 7) had a crack and bath tub had a crack too. Exterior of the building needs painting, it would help make the building look more attractive and modern.

Is what it is for the money
Pros:

Friendly welcome and good location to the train station. Room was nice and big and had good wifi. The bed, whilst a little firm, was comfortable and clean. Above all it was cheap and value for money. You get what you pay for

Cons:

Hotel is in need of refurbishing. Most channels on the tv had poor reception quality so distorted continually. The toilet was at a weird angle but useable. No lock on the inside of the door but you couldn’t open without the key so not a big deal. The shower was unusable though (room 1) only 1 setting and it was scolding hot so bad I was unable to use it. I used the room as a one night stay over on a long walk. Would book again but one night only and wouldn’t pay any more than I did for the room

I paid my online fee of around £60 and when I arrived I was turned away as they aid they had no rooms, they was lying.

Everything was ruined because of the shower. A room shouldn’t be sold if the shower does not work!

Cons:

The shower did not work. If water actually came out - dribbles - it was either scolding or freezing: terrible way to start your day!

Cons:

Very old, needs redecorating throughout, i had lose floor tiles in the bathroom, the shower was a trickle and red hot, cold water was on full but the water temp didnt change.
I knew their was no facilities hence the price being very reasonable. All round disappointing

Small issues but would go back 😊
Pros:

Good car parking and location. Quite roomy room. Bed comfortable
Able to check in as room ready.
Quiet location.

Cons:

Lack of staff present.
Cracked sink in bathroom but staff aware of this.
Booked room for2 people, but only given 1 cup & saucer and one bath towel and one hand towel.
Lighting in main room, bulbs not working , which we reported whilst there.
Bathroom radiator needs bleeding as very hot at bottom but not top.
Had to run hot water for a while but was made aware of it by notice.
Advertises as b&B but no breakfast is available just states local establishments nearby.
Daisy chaining of extension leads to TV set which is a serious health & safety hazard and could cause a fire, which we did make staff aware of.
Could do with a lick of paint inside & out.
