Hyatt House San Jose/Cupertino

Great staff. I had no problem making several changes. Also,ight Tesla chargers and eight CCS1 chargers with no cost to use.

We have visited quite a few Hyatt House properties over the years but this location stands out with exceptional service, an expansive breakfast selection, modern and comfortable rooms, and easy parking a the underground parking garage (has EV charging).

We were greeted cheerily by the staff upon our arrival in the afternoon. This was during the buildup to Easter timeframe and the hotel engaged in some well-placed decorations to bring a festive feel to the lobby and personnel. We were offered our Hyatt membership perk of a free water, but even in this the hotel was a cut above as the water was a larger, sip-top style vs the typical 0.25 500mL that we have received at other properties. We were also offered to use our late checkout while checking in.

Breakfast was fantastic with a very clean setup and some less common options made available. There were several alternative milks, which was nice for some of our party. The fresh omelet option was wonderful as was the inclusion of roasted vegetables, rice, and miso soup. I have never seen these options on the menu at other Hyatt House properties, and they were much appreciated by myself and my party. The breakfast area was well-staffed and attended to, was very clean, and the staff were proactive in removing dirty dishes, even taking them from the patrons as they bussed the tables. Coffee was replaced quickly upon emptying as were all other options. It was a great experience, and we will return whenever we find ourselves out there again.

We did have some issue with the bedding that is no real fault of the service received at the hotel, and I am extremely pleased that we were upgraded to a larger 2 bed suite upon arrival due to our larger party. However, we did make use of the pull-out bed for our older daughter. Unfortunately, it was not in good condition. The pull-out bed was essentially reclining in nature such that the foot of the bed was notably higher than the head of the bed.

Additionally, the padding of the bed was insufficient such that the metal bars beneath the bed were easily felt. My daughter spent one very uncomfortable night on it, but we then moved her onto the regular bed in the bedroom and shared the other. That normal bed had issues as well. It was heavily depressed on the left side from overuse and should be replaced. Happily, she was fine in the center. I also used that bed and was fine in the center, but the bed is still not in good shape given the major depression.

I am not sure what else needs to be said, but I will reiterate that the property and personnel at this location exceeded our expectations in every way with the exception of the condition of the pull-out bed and one of the main beds. We managed to be comfortable nonetheless and these seem like easy fixes. It's worth noting that a 4.6 earthquake occurred nearby (Boulder Creek) while we were there and the place took it like a champ.

You can't really sleep if the AC is full blast & then the heat kicks in. We had many problems with this location and it's sad because this a new hotel.

Fantastic stay from start to finish! The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk in. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional staff.

Bhuwan, Edwardo, and Angel at the front desk are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. They go above and beyond to make every guest feel valued and at home. On a previous visit, Bhuwan even took the time to personally show me how to charge my electric rental car—an act of kindness and service that really stood out.

It’s rare to find a team that is not only attentive but also remembers returning guests, which made my experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Pro tip: The hotel offers complimentary electric car charging for guests, which is a fantastic added perk.

Olena is an amazing manager and takes extra care to make sure my long stays are productive and enjoyable. The entire staff follows her example and are always friendly and attentive. They are also relentless when it comes to solving any issues that come up

Our group all exceedingly satisfied with rooms and full Amenities, excellent breakfast, quiet big suites, all cleanliness and hotel services, as well as Boardroom meeting space with fast wifi, great location

Our stay in the one-bedroom accessible suite with a living room and kitchen was absolutely beautiful. The space was stunning, bright, spacious, and so thoughtfully designed. The windows were incredible, and the view was simply amazing. Waking up to that scenery each morning made the experience even more special.

Breakfast was much better than we expected! The omelet bar was a highlight, and everything was fresh and delicious. As a Hyatt member, I especially appreciated the waters they provided ... such a thoughtful touch.

I truly cannot believe how nice and helpful everyone was. Anytime we needed something, it was taken care of immediately. The level of service was exceptional and made us feel genuinely valued.

This was honestly the best experience I have ever had at a Hyatt hotel. The hotel itself is amazing, and the location could not have been better. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Quick stay with kids for one night. Staff was friendly and attentive and recognized globalist status. Parking was ample and free and could be accessed directly from hotel elevator. Felt safe and close to great restaurants (driving). Our room felt very new and was clean and comfortable.

We were looking for a refundable room for the Super Bowl and this for the criteria. The staff were wonderful.
