Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa

Overall very good. But someone forgot to make a bed right.
The room (2 king beds) was very spacious.
The 2nd-floor open-our courtyard was very nice and that's where our family met for visiting.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lafayette Park Hotel one the weekend. I stayed for one night, and my only negative feedback is I didn’t book more than one night.
All the staff I encountered from the initial call in to book, to the very last doorman after check out, were polite, helpful and cheerful. The overall vibe of the whole property is relaxed and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean.
I was very pleased with the ability to have the same menu poolside as you can get in the restaurant. The spa was welcoming and the massage therapist was skilled.
The restaurant on site was delicious and had a lot of different types of options.
This place was well worth every penny and we will absolutely be back again.

The best luxury hotel near Walnut Creek. It a quaint looking property with large rooms and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on. The location is close to everything in Walnut Creek and the area is very safe. We will definitely be back

We started here during our class reunion. The hotel has a great location. We ended up adding a night to enjoy more time with friends. The staff were very accommodating.

Location and restaurant.

Definitely a fun place to get away and just relax. We sat at the pool for two days and went out to dinner at the restaurant and had a great time. Rooms are nice. Beds are super comfy. Excellent amenities!

The Lafayette Park Hotel is a pretty property and the rooms are large. Staff were friendly at check in, but it was immediately obvious that tack on fees (think $25 per day to park in a suburban area without any dearth of parking options) would significantly inflate the price of the room. I was assigned a second floor room. The room was SO LOUD because of its proximity to the main staircase and the location of the pool on floor 3. Once in the room, it was clear it had not been properly cleaned. Wet towels were in the shower from the previous guest and hair was on the floors. Some of the wall plugs did not work. The beds are comfortable (if you can sleep through the noise) but - although I had put a do not disturb sign on my door - the cleaning team tried to force their way into the room at 8 am. If I did not have the dead bolt on, they’d have plowed right in. I called the front desk to ask if their records correctly showed the room as occupied, and they were not very apologetic in their response. I was offered a single full size towel and two wash cloths, but nothing else to make up for the loud, dirty room. The on-site restaurant was quite good and there is easy to use free WiFi. Overall, I’d not return, but from other reviews it seems my stay was not one of their best.

We were so pleased with Lafayette Park! The rooms were very nice and large, and we loved the heated pool and hot tub. Staff was so kind and accommodating.

Loved staying here! The bed was super comfy and the room service was fantastic! Loved the free room upgrade and opening up the windows in the morning to enjoy the courtyard view and the soft music playing below. Will definitely stay again!

I enjoy staying at the Lafayette Park Hotel when I’m in the Bay Area visiting family. It’s centrally located and close to freeway access. It’s clean, comfortable, safe and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I recently enjoyed the onsite restaurant. Very nice! When traveling alone I’m very comfortable at the LPH&S. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are beautifully ample and clean, and comfortable. The staff in both the hotel and Bistro were very nice!

The hotel is extremely well maintained. The service was awesome. The room was huge! This is our 6th or 7th trip to Lafayette and will not hesitate to stay there again. The town is quaint but within minutes of Walnut Creek.

One of my favorite hotels in the Bay Area! This hotel is so nice and the rooms are very comfortable. The robe is amazing! 🤩 The restaurant and bar are also excellent. We had a company meeting here and that was also perfect. It was a group of 10 of us and our meeting room was in the Library. Service was also spectacular! You are also close to a lot of great places in downtown Walnut Creek. Highly recommend!!

Superb customer service, gracious guest rooms, wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend and look forward to our next stay.
