Das Zimmer war, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Es gab zwei Größen Kopfkissen zur Auswahl.

Cons:

Der Sport- und Wellnessbereich war für ein Hotel in dieser Größe deutlich zu klein. Wir hatten Glück, dass bei dem schönen Wetter kaum Saunabesucher da waren.

Stilfullt, bekvämt och i ett lugnt område.
Pros:

Lugnt och fint område som för mig var på rätt sida om Elbe och nära platsen jag besökte varje dag.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war für uns perfekt. Im Süden Hamburgs gelegen und mit der S-Bahn ist die City erreichbar. Genügend Parkplätze (kostenlos) waren vorhanden. Die Betten waren super bequem. Hervorragend. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit frisch ausgeprägtem Orangensaft ist einfach super lecker. Das Zimmer fanden wir sehr schön und die Möglichkeit für einen Room-Service zum Bestellen des Essens aufs Zimmer ist einfach der Hammer.

Cons:

Leider fehlte uns eine Minibar. Wäre schön gewesen. Heutzutage kann man in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie auch eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine anstatt Pulverkaffee erwarten.
Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

The pleasant Privahotel
Pros:

Set in a green and leafy upmarket Hamburg suburb of Heimfeld, this hotel is a pleasant way to escape the fast pace of city life.
Although the room lacked little luxuries, e.g. good quality bath products, it was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is of a good quality. What I would expect of a standard 4* hotel.
It is though difficult to travel to Lindtner using public transport and therefore not convenient for visiting central Hamburg attractions. I was advised to travel to the hotel from Hamburg Central Station by train to Harburg and to take a taxi from there to the hotel (1.8 miles). Harburg is a run-down area and not very pleasant. On the one night I attended a concert at the Elbphilharmonie, I was left stranded when the evening trains were cancelled and the scheduled replacement bus to Harburg didn’t turn up. German public transport reliability is not what it used to be. A taxi from Hamburg Central Station to the hotel costs €55 😩.
