Nothing after seeing the hotel live.
Dirty, it smells really bad, and the furniture, carpets, and the entire hotel are absolutely filthy.

The s'mores were the best part of the stay. The kids really enjoyed sitting around the fire enjoying them.
Was really disappointed with the basic maintenance and cleanliness of the room. When we went to take a shower at 9:00 p.m. the first night, immediately the bathtub was filling up with water and not draining. We called for maintenance and waited until about 10:15 p.m. for them to come and pull an insane amount of hair out of the drain. We ended up having to keep our kids up super late after a long day just to take a fast shower. Once inside the bathroom, there was black mold on the ceiling, black mold around the on and off handle for the shower. There was an insane amount of rust on the bathroom door hinges, to the point where it looked like something you would see outside on an abandoned building (the top one especially). On top of that, the light in the ceiling was just a metal hole, the cover was gone, it was just an exposed light bulb and it was all rusted inside. Then in the room itself the headboards were falling apart and picked apart, there were smudges of gross stuff on the headboard that could have easily been wiped off. The cork cord on the wall was coming off, the closet door wouldn't stay shut, the door to the mini fridge cabinet wouldn't close and was filthy on the bottom. I could have forgiven some of the defects in the room, but the bathroom was absolutely unforgivable. Really disappointed in the quality of the room for the price that we paid. It was like staying in a dirty motel.

A very nice 3 day stay at Zephyr. It is definitely something different than the hotels we usually stay in, but that is a good thing here. Nicely eclectic, quite comfortable, and a great location at Fisherman’s wharf. We felt appreciated by the staff upon arrival, treated very nicely and very accommodating, as we arrived a bit early. Our room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a couple. There are neat activities to engage in on-site, and mere steps to the attractions at Fisherman’s Wharf. We did not know what to expect from such a place, but I highly recommend a stay here when you’re in town.
