A special architecture in the heart of Laon
Pros:

Perfect place to stop after a long journey. Historical architecture, comfortable, quiet. The kindness and friendliness of the owner makes the experience all the more special! We'll be back.

Cependant bon accueil et chambre agréable.
Pros:

Belle chambre rustique dans un immeuble très ancien.

Cons:

1)Etablissement inaccessible en voiture, car rue coupée pour cause de travaux NON imputables à l'hôtel certes;
2)Chambres inaccessibles pour des personnes handicapés physique/à mobilité réduite, ce qui n'était fort heureusement pas notre cas. A décharge, dans un immeuble d'une telle ancienneté en centre-ville historique, ne se prête pas à l'installation d'un ascenseur!
3)Aucune variété du petit déjeuner : pas de produits carnés, pas de laitage (sauf beurre), pas de fruits...

A too brief stay in a fabulous ancient building
Pros:

The location at the heart of the old town is perfect, our Room was beautiful with a fantastic view. We were welcomed at the hotel and at the lovely brasserie opposite the stunning cathedral. The walled medieval centre is so exceptional I would hope to go back

Pros:

Die zentrale Lage liegt gut im historischen Ortskern. Die Kathedrale und Restaurants sind sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind authentisch und renoviert, was in diesen historischen Gebäuden sicher nicht einfach ist Unser Zimmer war im Dachgeschoss und geräumig. Das Frühstück war ausreichend.
Es wird auf die Zufriedenheit des Gastes geachtet. Nette Ansprechpartner.

Cons:

Alles okay. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist ein wenig lau, lässt sich aber sicherlich in diese Gebäuden nicht ändern.

Un hôtel agréable très bien placé et un accueil très sympathique. Petit déjeuner trop basique ...
Pros:

Emplacement idéal et la chambre un peu "vintage" mais conforme au descriptif. Un accueil exceptionnel.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner est vraiment trop basique. Pain, beurre, confiture et un croissant pourraient être complétés avec quelques fruits, yaourts, du fromage, pain rustique ou gâteau local et ce serait parfait;)

Historic town not to be missed. The hotel is a good place to stay.
Pros:

The man that ran it was superb. He has difficulties with the road works outside, the lack of on street parking and the extreme heat. He did his best to overcome them all.

Cons:

Nothing. It was an historic building with all the shortcomings that might ensue but it was a pleasant stay.
