Our stay was short but very pleasant. No complaints.
Pros:

Pros:

The location is good, which is about 30min drive to the White House. The bed is comfortable and parking spot is sufficient.

Cons:

The price is too high for this level of comfort.
Pros:

I appreciated having a microwave in the room, as well as the option to choose a ground-floor room so I wouldn't have to carry my luggage up the stairs. Although the motel is located right next to a busy road, it was quiet at night. Free parking was also available, and there was no extra charge for staying with a dog.

Cons:

It could have been cleaner. The sofa was very dirty—we didn't sit on it. The water in both the bathtub and the sink drains very slowly. It is time to replace the towels; they look very old. For us, the location was inconvenient; we had to drive 50 minutes through traffic every time we wanted to get to DC.

Completely Misleading Ratings — Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had

I rarely leave reviews, but this stay at Motel 6 Falls Church was genuinely the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

The room had no bed sheets, no pillows, and a visibly yellow-stained mattress. It looked completely unprepared for guests. We were moved between multiple rooms, but every alternative had similar cleanliness issues, including hair on the bedding and clearly unclean conditions. After several failed attempts, we were even offered a single king bed for four adults.

This happened during a critical week (my graduation) with my family visiting from abroad. We arrived late at night, exhausted, and had no choice but to leave and find another hotel at extremely high last-minute prices because the room was simply not usable.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the online rating does not reflect reality. It honestly feels like the reviews are not consistent with what is actually happening on-site.

I also have serious concerns about how guest identification documents are handled, which added to the discomfort during check-in.

In short: this place had no proper bedding, no basic cleanliness standards, and feels completely unreliable despite its high rating. I strongly suspect the rating does not reflect real guest experiences.

Did not end up staying. “You get what you pay for” does not apply here. They price as high as they can to be the cheap
