Beautiful location and view, but extremely uncomfortable room with limited amenities.
Pros:

The hotel is situated looking over a marina and the bay. I had a beautiful view from my room. It’s a short walk to the rocky side of the marina where you’ll find an interesting cave. The restaurant, only open for dinner, had a good menu with local dishes, but was very expensive. The restaurant also had a beautiful view of the marina and bay.

Cons:

I paid for a room with a double bed, and got a very narrow single bed. My safe was locked when I arrived, so I had to keep my valuables with me while walking around and going to dinner. There’s no hotel staff on site, (self-entry), so I needed to email the manager about any needs. By the time someone came to fix the safe, I had already finished dinner and was returning to my room. Probably the worst part of my stay, was the very thin walls. You can hear every sound and movement in the neighboring rooms, including a man snoring through the night. His snoring kept me up most of the night. The hotel offers no breakfast, and no airport shuttle. It does provide information about contacting a taxi. There is a local bus line that I took from the airport to the hotel. Bus 55, with a transfer to bus R1. It was easy, took about 35 minutes, and cost a total of $5 for both buses. Just a short, scenic walk from bust stop to hotel. I had to take a taxi in the morning to the airport for $40, to go 2 miles, since the bus route does not run during early hours.

Liked very much so near to airport and right beside the sea and room size and tea making facilities

Cons:

Our room had a small window facing the front door and car park, and is noisy if anyone is talking at the front of the front door especially if at a late hour. There are much better back rooms with sea views and no noise and balcony/ bigger windows, these are preferable. Was very close and easy for getting an early flight home, which was the main reason we stayed.

Didn’t meet expectations, 2 star experience.
Pros:

Instant coffee shouldn’t be advertised as “complementary” coffee.

Cons:

The sheets were very scratchy, had stains and the detergent had a powerful smell. The shower wasn’t clean. The soap dispensers were sketchy.

No staff, dirty and old, not maintained, our shower was blocked and flooded the bathroom. Thin walls and noisy. No lift so had to lug suitcases up and down stairs

Dritter Aufenthalt in 6 Jahren. Das Hotel Duus wird zunehmend schlechter. Zwar insgesamt sauber, aber der Erhaltungszustand der Unterkunft ist miserabel. Putz im Zimmer bröckelt, verschiedene ungenutzte (ehemalige) Halterungen in der Dusche, Lampe auf Balkon defekt, auf dem Balkon lag eine Stehleiter, Zigarettenstummel, keine Stühle auf dem Balkon. Kein Personal mehr vor Ort, Einchecken per Mail und Türcode. Früher gab es mal einen Frühstück für Frühabreisen zum Flughafen. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht mehr; gib besseres zum selben Preis.

Það var ekkert sem okkur líkaði

Cons:

Það var ekkert varið í þetta hótel. Alveg skelfilegt enginn afgreiðsla. Klósettið var fast á sírennsli svo við sváfum ekkert. Hreingernigar konan um morguninn lá í símanum fyrir utan hurðina hjá okkur samkjaftaði í síman. Ég myndi ekki mæla með þessu við minn versta óvin
