Sleep Inn & Suites Memphis Southeast

When I first arrived I thought it was a great location. After checking in it went down hill. As soon as we passed the lobby we got a really bad poop smell at the elevators going to our room. After that we got into our room to notice that the bathrooms had nasty smears of stuff on the walls, the toilet was dirty, the tub was dirty and the shower curtain was stained and mildew. I was so upset. When taking a showers that night I noticed that the floor of the tub was super slippery and I almost bust my tail. There were no safety rails or slip resistant surfaces or hand guards if I hit the floor. The next day while my mother was showering she had actually slipped in the tub on the floor. I was so upset. On my way down to report the incident the fire alarm went off. So I turned around to make sure my family was out. When I went back out into the hall I could see water coming through the floor a foot down from my room. When I went downstairs to speak to someone the owner, male, told me “I don’t have time fire that, can’t you see what is happening.” I was heat This was, without a doubt, the WORST hotel stay I have ever experienced in my life. What was supposed to be a special trip to attend a wedding turned into an absolute nightmare filled with fear, frustration, emotional distress, and disappointment. I am requesting a FULL REFUND for our stay because the conditions we experienced were unacceptable, unsafe, and completely mishandled by hotel management.

One of the most upsetting incidents occurred when my family member slipped and fell in the bathtub because the floor was dangerously slippery. I was already shaken and upset by the incident, but things only got worse. As I was heading downstairs to report what happened, the fire alarm went off. I immediately turned around to make sure my family was safely out of the room. When I stepped back into the hallway, I could see water coming through the ceiling approximately one foot away from our room.

I don’t like that we didn’t have hot water for two hrs. Also while my children was in the pool a homeless man that is hanging inside the hotel pull his pants down after me telling him that my children was in the pool and peeped outside in front of us where the pool was

Elevators call buttons didn't work, The hallways where HOT.. It took 5 or more attempts to get staff to either fix our room key or put us in a different roo.. They did finally put us in a different room.

I arrived at the time of check-in I choose upon purchasing the room just to be told that I cannot check-in until after 2pm. This left me and my son with nowhere to go for almost 4 hrs until a room was ready

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The bathroom was extremely dirty when I checked into the room, and the manager actually had to come clean it personally, which should never happen at any hotel. The entire property looks outdated and definitely needs major updates and maintenance.

To make matters worse, there were gunshots heard close by the hotel during the night, which made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. The breakfast was also terrible — the food tasted bad and did not seem fresh at all.

Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend staying here.
