Old style hotel which charm and charisma. I loved it for all its originality but I did think it was pricey for the room
Pros:

Location, style, staff, breakfast, comfort. I hate modern hotels and this was like an Agatha Christie adventure. Staff were faultless, polite and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Room was a bit small for the price and very limited toiletries which were not replenished but I didn’t care as the rest of the hotel was excellent.

Cons:

The lift. I was on the third floor and the lift was the old style barrier gates which I will never go into. Room was slightly small for the price and the toiletries were sparse and not replace for the second day. TV was poor and needs modernization but I was out most of the days so it was irrelevant. Limited parking outside which needed care to avoid car damage but again just be careful.

This is a beautiful place - generous views of a lovely coastline
Pros:

The staff - bent over backwards to accommodate me.

Cons:

If I had wanted breakfast - I didn’t - I think £20 is excessive for breakfast but as I didn’t experience it I can’t comment about food quality.

Great location
Pros:

Fab location, great view, comfortable room, really helpful woman on reception couldn’t have been nicer.

Cons:

Arrived really tired after a long hot journey, no one on reception then the man tried to sell me the expensive breakfast
