Pros:

The hotel is a beautiful building with a lobby and dinning rooms decorated with nice wooden furnitures. Breakfast was rich and very tasty! The hotel's sitting area on the fjord is cool and the restaurant offers very good dishes.
The stuff was very helpful.
The room and bathroom were clean.
There is a sidewalk along the fjord right where's the hotel is.

Cons:

The room was basic but the view from it was worth it.

Homely and value for money!
Pros:

It was centrally located and easy walking distance from transport links and tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and coffee and brownies were provided free of charge throughout the day. A really lovely hotel that felt homely!

Pros:

Het geheel heeft een heel charmante stijl. Kleinschalig, persoonlijk en perfecte locatie. Vriendelijke medewerkers in het familiebedrijf.

Cons:

Hardere matras (maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur). En eerlijk gezegd vind ik het wel erg duur, waarschijnlijk vanwege het prijs niveau van de hotels in Bergen maar toch… 🤔

Pros:

Séjour charmant.
Chambre très agréable avec belle vue.
Lumineuse. Grande fenêtre devant le bureau. Bon éclairage. Lit confortable.
Petit déjeuner très agréable dans un joli décor.

Cons:

Grande côte pour arriver de la gare. C'est sportif.

A characterful hotel close to the university.
Pros:

This hotel is very well placed for the university area which has good museums and a lovely cafe nearby. It is also adjacent to a very pretty park with a lily pond. It is not too far to walk to the tourist area although it's uphill on the way back.

Cons:

At busy breakfast times you may have to wait for a table.
