Dirty rooms. Dirty carpet. Balcony was the only nice thing. If youre a clean freak like me, you will have a panic attack! This is just unacceptable! This hotel should have stayed closed. Everywhere I looked, there was debris,trash and at 1 point i vould smell a heavy scent of Marijuana. Well, after going to the store to buy my OWN cleaning supplies, I stumbled into a piece of weed cigar?[idunno but it smelled like it] see pictures for proof of my review. This hotel looks nice in pictures, 20 years ago. Dont believe the bs they show you. I booked through booking. Com and their reviews were OK, so I booked. Never ever again will I be staying at any type of Wyndham owned property. I will stick to my good Ole regular, MARRIOTT.
The carpet in the lobby looks like it has never been cleaned🤢 black and brown with stains. The lobby is so hot, I guess the ac broke.
Free breakfast but who wants to eat in a super hot and dirty lobby? Immediate NO! I asked the maid for towels and she gave me 2 big ones. I asked for smaller ones and she said, "thats all I got".... so you might want to bring your own towels... the only reason I asked for more was bc the ones in the room had black grease looking stains in them.
The toiletries is super old and if you flush while sitting, you will get a big wet kiss back...🤢💀
I ended up leaving a whole 24hrs early. I just couldn't stand it anymore. Absolutely gross!!!!!!!

Very friendly staff and comfortable room. The only drawback was the room has a of a bit musty smell when we entered, probably due to lack of recent HVAC use. Once we ran the AC a while the smell disappeared. It would have been easier to remedy if the there was a constant fan setting available on the HVAC system.

I am not one to normally complain, but this hotel is absolutely unacceptable.
We are loyal Wyndham members and purposely choose this brand when we travel. Unfortunately, this stay has completely changed that for us. This is our vacation, and this hotel is ruining our time while wasting our money.
I will say the front desk employee was very kind and doing her best, and I appreciate her. But beyond that, everything else has been awful.
We booked a 2 queen suite with a sofa bed, but were given a run-down handicap room that looks NOTHING like the photos online. The room smells musty, has no tub like advertised, and is in terrible condition.
The cleanliness is honestly shocking. The floors were so sticky and dirty that I had to clean them myself—and the towel turned black. The sheets were clearly not changed and looked nasty, and when I removed them, the mattress underneath had large, visible stains, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious health and sanitation concerns. Parts of the ceiling are also literally falling in.
On top of that:
The AC in our room does not work (after hours, it’s getting hotter)
The lobby AC is also out, and staff has a fan blowing on them
The hot tub is ice cold and not working
The pool is dirty and cloudy—you can’t even see through the water
Literally 2 towels in the bathroom for a 6 person suite.
The entire hotel flooring is dirty and poorly maintained
This is not just disappointing—it’s unacceptable. This property is nothing like what is advertised and does not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness or maintenance.
This situation is not just inconvenient—it is disrupting our vacation and costing us money for a stay that does not meet even basic expectations of cleanliness, safety, or functionality.
At this point, we expect this to be made right.
If Wyndham values their loyal customers at all, they need to address this immediately—because this experience alone is enough to make us never return.
Simply put, one of the best stays I have ever had anywhere. The accommodations were better than average. There are a few things, but the hospitality alone is worth the visit. Tamia was the absolute best! But every person on their team was personable and an absolute wonder!
Hotel recently changed to Wyndham. Staff is very professional and helpful. Room was spacious, but noisy. My shower also was cold. Very good location next to San Antonio airport. Good breakfast. Offers airport shuttle. In spite of issues, I would stay again if going to San Antonio.
Worst hotel experience I have ever had.
When I first entered the room, there was a strange odor. After being in the room for a few hours, I started to develop a headache and eventually discovered the source of the smell — dog poop left under the sofa chair. Finding something like this in a hotel room is absolutely unacceptable, unsanitary, and clearly shows a serious failure in basic room cleaning.
No guest should ever have to encounter animal feces in a room that is supposed to be cleaned and prepared for new occupants. This was extremely disturbing and completely ruined the stay.
What is even more disappointing is that it has been almost a month since I reported this issue, and the management has been largely unresponsive and insensitive. A situation like this deserves immediate attention, accountability, and proper follow-up — none of which has happened.
I strongly urge the hotel to take responsibility and seriously improve its housekeeping standards. Until then, guests should be aware and thoroughly check under chairs and beds when entering their rooms.

Great value, convenient location
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in and check out was super quick and easy via a text link. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
Descent hotel! Everything clean and in good shape. The only reasons for 4 stars is NO SIGNAGE out front (could have put up banner ( at-least) ! And the elevator has first floor marked as main floor. The lobby/front deck is on second floor. Not marked on elevator and got to spend time on first floor lost! Short overnite stay. Early flight. Room was great with coffee, quite and good setup room

Eleven of our family members stayed here while attending a funeral. The staff was so gracious, friendly and helpful. They made room for us to gather with friends in the breakfast area. They even made coffee for us. The rooms were very nice, beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was good too! Plenty to eat: Eggs, sausages, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, pancakes, fruit, juice, coffee, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, etc. The location was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!
When I first arrived I was issued a room with 2 queen beds, but I reserved a King Deluxe room. However I went to the front desk and this very polite, professional and kind young lady named Summer politely accommodated me with the room I requested. She was very kind and professional and I definitely appreciate her professionalism and consideration. Thank you Ms. Summer
I didn’t like the fact of housekeeping never came to clean the room for the 3 days I was there,and the breakfast was very basic!…Also on 12/17/25 I went to my room that night and my door key didn’t work,so I went to the front desk and the gentleman informed me that the system was down so he had to leave his post at the front desk to open the door for me on the 4th floor. I got so disappointed with that I checked out that Thursday morning at 1:30 in the morning when check out was at 11:00 am
Liked the cleanliness and staff were very nice. Beautiful hotel as well. Pancake station at breakfast was a hit.
No shampoo, conditioner or body wash in containers in shower, beds were not as comfy as we like, pillows too small on bed too. Remote was broken in room so had to go get another one in lobby to watch TV, young lady in lobby was very sweet and apologized and replaced it. We would book again but with our own toiletries and pillows next time. Hotel was just taken over by Wyndham less than a month ago so maybe they just need time to adjust the transfer.
I arrived late and check in was super easy. I left early for the airport and very smooth transition. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay.

The hotel was recently acquired by Wyndham and does not have any lights to alert you this is the location. It requires serious update to carpet and dinning area. The hot water took a long time making us waste too much water.
Hotel very dark when you walk in, no sign, pool non functional, exercise room was 82 degrees- no way to turn on air, staff was excellent
Breakfast lacked items, potatoes awful, coffee was great
