Pros:

Staff was friendly.

Cons:

No functioning safe in room. Floor was gross and sticky. Non working bulbs. Breakfast was underwhelming.

All was well except for the rude housekeeper.

Had the DND on my room door and requested a 12 noon check.The housekeeper constantly knocked at the door after I told her I had gotten approved to check out late she proceeded to disrespect me and yell profanity to me.I immediately informed the front desk manager.

It was welcoming and pleasant.
Pros:

The location was ideal for area that I was visiting. I was greeted with a sincere welcome which immediately created an atmosphere of warmth. The room suited my needs for time I was there. The price was very economical.

Good location but needs updating
Pros:

Breakfast was good and water temperature was good for showers.

Cons:

Rooms and building are very dated and need work. Always felt humid in room despite how you had the air conditioning set. Shower was small and needs to be more enclosed due to water leaking onto the floor and causing it to be slippery. Bed seemed smaller than a king size and was not very comfortable. The outlet that the appliances plug into was being held up by a small shim and used pressure from the dresser to keep it connected the slightest bump and everything turned off.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

My daughter and I needed a place to stay so we could catch the train. This place was not far and it was quiet and clean. There was a little noise after 11 but it didn't last long. The front desk was polite and got us checked in quickly. We felt mostly safe. The bed was comfortable. We left before breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

A plus stay!
Pros:

We stayed at another hotel for 1 night and checked out early bc it was so gross. Wingate was wonderful! Staff was so friendly, even checking to make sure we were happy with the room. Everything was clean, breakfast was hot and the AC was top notch! Definitely would stay again!

Pros:

Staff was great considering our last minute check in. The breakfast was not bad but I did got bit by something while I was sleeping 3 times.
