Poor customer service
The Breakfast was amazing and the pool was nice
First night there they put us in the room from hell!
The AC wasn’t working and the floor was soaking wet from the AC and it was moldy nasty water and it came all the way out to in front of our beds! The smell was horrible!
The TV was not working we kept calling they came put a new box on but it stopped working as soon as they left the room.
The freezer was completely full iced up.
The fan in the bathroom sounded like a broken down jet! It was so loud no way we were keeping or putting that on! They did give us a new room but we had to move all of our stuff it was a real mess! They never even offered to reimburse us for the first night, I said we shouldn’t have been charged and the guy ignored
Won’t be going back.
Employees were very courteous and helpful.
Convenient location
One of the beds had dirty sheets. rather giving us a new room. The front desk sent us back to the room with a clean set of sheets so we could change them ourselves. Rooms are in desperate need of remodeling.
There isn’t much good to say about this hotel. The breezeway which opens into the lobby was filthy. When we arrived to check in there was a family with several small children whom I assumed had just finished swimming or were going to use the pool. Behind them were two women holding a large pile of towels, this is of some importance because when we arrived there was no one was at the desk. There was a small green post it note stuck to the base of a landline phone that read- press of no one is at the desk. I pressed the button which rang a phone that was attached to one of the women holding the stack of towels. Not once while I was waiting at the desk did either women acknowledge me. It wasn’t until I rang the phone that they acknowledged me. Now, if they were helping guests that would have been fine however, the people who they were with were obviously either close friends or family members because one man dressed in plain clothes, went behind the desk to grab cookies for the small children that they were with. Instead of doing their jobs they were catering to their family or friends who are using the amenities whom were most likely not paying guests. When I did check in and got the key, we went up the to our room, and while we were walking down the hallway, we noticed that there was paint peeling from the baseboards. The baseboards were dirty and had water damage. When we got to the room, it was clean, but the beds were terribly uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the sheets. The bathroom was incredibly small and the vanity was outside of the restroom. My family, and I decided not to stay as the accommodations were not as described in the photos from booking.com when I went downstairs to report my concerns and request a refund, we were told that, unfortunately, I would have to call the booking.com. I was told by booking.com that I could not be refunded because I did not report corners to staff I couldn’t be refunded which obviously isn’t true.
Don’t stay here. The hotel is old and is need a major repairs. It is cheap and dirty. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful instead of doing their jobs. They were catering to a group of either friends or family and one plane clothes man walked behind the counter to grab cookies for his small children. We did not stay. We immediately checked out after seeing the room, reported our concerns to the staff whom then told their manager that we did not report our concerns to the manager. We stayed at the Marriott down the street, which is far nicer on the lake clean and has very professional staff
Breakfast was good, the location was easy to find.
The staff was less than professional, when you overhear conversations. They could have been more appreciative for customers, as that is why they are there. I am in the customer service industry and you are always " on stage". As you are noticed.
Breakfast was good and mattress was confortable
Access to room very good.
Maid service was only ever 3 days. We had to ask for more towels and washcloths and coffee. The bathroom had only one sink small area. Commode child size and had to be flush several times to clear. For a 3 day stay trash built up for only 2 small trash cans. Cable tv was very limited. Lighting in sink area seemed a little dim. As far as hall area not very clean. Receptacle outlet (one we tried) plug fell out and we saw sparks could be a potential fire hazard.
Easy to get in and out of. Staff very friendly much better in person than when I called.
Room had a slight smell. Shower curtain had mildew was supposed to be white was pink on bottom.
The didn’t have soap said they were waiting on a shipment but gave body soap as replacement.
Pullout couch didn’t have sheet or blanket.
Only had one set of towels so gad to go to front desk to get supplies
Location and staff
No room cleaning for all my stay
Location was good. Beds comfortable, shower was nice
line at check in with only 1 person working. The system seemed really slow. TV was stuck on 1 channel. When we told front desk, she said we were using wrong button to change. As if.... What she said to do didn't work anyway. So we changed channels at the box like back in the 70's. Breakfast was terrible. Eggs dried out and hard. Air conditioner in the room struggled and seemed to shut off while we were gone for the day. Housekeeping every 3rd day.
This place always was the best, been staying there for over 15 years. The quality of the place has fallen down but overall it's a place to stay. Will not go back.
The food has lost its quality.
Beds were very comfortable, clean and a good breakfast
The ice machine didn't work the 3 days we were there
There were no water refill stations. Our room which was a suite only had an ac unit which the filter in it was not clean so it was not working properly. Breakfast could have been better.
How the ac unit was set up.
Good breakfast. Many selections to choose from. Location was centralized from what attractions we wanted to visit
Rooms were not cleaned every day. Trash was not picked up and had to ask for clean towels. No ice machine on second floor. Printer was not working both days so could not get a printed receipt.
Great location. Easy access to route 2. Decent breakfast.
I was there for 6 days/5 nights and staff never cleaned room, emptied trash, made beds or gave us clean towels the entire stay. We were gone early and stayed out late every day - they had plenty of opportunity to get in our room. I’m sure they would have cleaned it if I went down and asked, but I didn’t think I should have to ask.
I chose this hotel for the location, but next time would drive from a greater distance to get a decent (clean) place.
Both beds had soiled linens!! Discovered too late to cancel (and all other hotels were booked for July 4). After much discussion, desk person gave me another set of (fortunately clean) sheets - for me to change sheets myself! (now that’s great service…). Black mold on bathroom door. Orange mold on soap dish and dispensers. Black bits in ice cubes. Hair on toilet. Hotel repeatedly didn’t answer phone for me to report issues. They denied any refund/rebate. OUTRAGEOUS to spend over $200/night for this!! Thank goodness WalMart was close to get Lysol spray and wipes (or I would have slept in my car).
Na
Cards didn't work for room
Great breakfast and the people working it just very nice.
