Pros:

Fina omgivningar, trevlig personal och god mat

Cons:

Besviken på rummet, vi hade bokat standard två bäddsrum och vi tyckte inte att det motsvarade våra förväntningar på ett slottsboende. Man hade kunnat beskriva det mer som ett vandrarhemsboende el ekonomiboende.
Vårt rum hade en enkelsäng och en (redan utbäddad) bäddsoffa, ett väggfast skrivbord och garderob + en liten trästol. Såg ut precis som ett studentrum el vandrarhemsrum, allt som behövs finns men inte något mer. Inte ens några glas el muggar trots att det fanns ett par Loka och vattenkokare. Första natten ramlade dessutom sänglampan ner i huvudet på mig när jag sov......

So disappointed that we had to stay in very small room with no coffee maker or glasses for water.
Pros:

The view from our room was a garden view and we enjoyed the hiking trails.

Cons:

We misunderstood from the booking. com ad, thinking that we would be staying in the slott. We were placed in a student housing room and had to carry all our luggage up 20 steps to our room. Breakfast was served in the slott at a low level with small windows with no view.

Bra, även om inte fantastiskt. Naturmiljön imponerar, den historiska kunde få ta mer plats.
Pros:

Frukosten var bra, men det fanns också brister. Dock, låt mig först peka ut godbitarna: gott och starkt kaffe! Innehållsrik smoothie gjord på egna (tror jag) bär, även en ingefärsstark shot som satte fart på livsandarna. Dessutom ett spännande urval av hembakt bröd. Men man ska ju ha något på brödet också, och inte bara ost och chark, utan gärna även något sött. I min standardfrukost ingår nämligen också en och annan marmeladmacka, men någon marmelad fanns inte att finna. Nå, en rostad med honung då? Nej, inte det heller. Efter mycket letande så hittade jag bredvid tekopparna en av de minsta honungsburkar jag någonsin sett. Knappast avsedd för att ha till smörgåsar, men den fick duga. I övrigt fanns det förväntade utbudet av gröt ägg och yoghurt, så hungrig behövde man inte gå från frukosten

Cons:

Wijks Slott marknadsförs just som en möjlig "slottsvistelse". Själva den borgliknande huvudbyggnaden finns med i bilder och beskrivningar som en huvudattraktion, och konstigt vore det förstås annars. Byggnaden beskrivs av historiker som unik, och är ett kittlande blickfång där den reser sig högt och imponerande i landskapet. Det går förstås att läsa sig till borgens historia. Men det spännande innehållet kommer man inte åt som gäst på Wijk, borgen är då just bara ett blickfång.

Väldigt trevlig personal.Vi blev bjudna på vin och kakor under tiden rummet skulle göras rent.

Fick vänta ett tag på att rummet ska göras i ordning men det ordnades till slut.
