THIS HOTEL HAS BED BUGS
Pros:

This room was booked for me as I travel a lot and I was stuck staying because I arrived so late. This Hotel is extremely dirty! Room was filthy and smelled dirty. I discovered bed bugs upon arriving home. There are homeless people living in rooms and men wondering around the property. I saw a drug deal happening in the parking lot. I was terrified. Booking.com is falsely advertising this Hotel , nothing about the advertisement is true. The front desk guy lied and said my cc did not work, he wanted cash instead. I know this because I caught him saying the same thing to the next guest. When I told him I did not have cash he said my card worked after all. It felt like I was in a third world country! Again this Hotel Has Bed Bugs. After all the stress about my one night stay this Hotel refuses to give me a refund as requested by Booking.com. Booking.com should be giving me a refund as they are the platform that advertises this atrocity.DO NOT STAY AT HOTEL IRIS SAN DIEGO ITS DISGUSTING.

Great place for the price, especially compared to other nearby hotels. Would stay again
Pros:

Good location, had an extra bed, for three people was perfect. AC unit/keycard/lights/water all actually worked as expected.

Cons:

Some dirty spots in the bathtub

Just not as expected and very disappointed over all with the room and the stay.

I did not like the rooms, beds, flooring, there was some kind of construction going on next door that woke us up from 730am driling the kids woke up scared. There was Cockroach and other small Insect all over the sink, floor and bathroom tub and sealing too. It was nasty. The bed board's were all scratched out o bitten by pets, No phone in the room had to run to the front desk when we needed something. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, the rooms looks nothing like any of the pictures they have on the webiste!
