Pros:

The room (including the bathroom) looks run down. Definitely need updates.

Outdated room. Bed slanted towards middle of bed & uncomfortable. Charged my credit card before checking in and that was not the agreement. Staff not at front desk, door locked & unavailable for 45 minutes past my check in time. Also not available to check out in person on departure, no one available & door was locked with the office hours posted as being there in attendance. I was disappointed because I stayed at this property twice in 2022 & it was a supreme place to stay.

Location is main reason for staying there.

We have stayed at the Garden Inn for many years. We felt it was always good value for the money. This is the first time we were disappointed. On checking in, we asked for two keys and told there was only one. The explanation was that people leave without turning in their key. In fact, there are two keys it's just some stranger has one to our room. To compound matters, My wife went out with the only key, I also went out. I returned earlier around 9:30 am expecting someone in the office could let me in. There was a sign that the front desk is not open until 11 am and I had to beg a cleaning person to let me in.

Great location
Pros:

Location is top notch! Front desk guy was very nice, patio area was clean and so was the room. Just a little in need of repair

Cons:

Multiple people parked over the lines causing us to park our small sedan on the side of the road, the shower floor tile had a 2 fit long Crack and sunk, the ac did not work until we replaced the batteries, floor paneling was lifting. We messaged the staff but got no response.

Location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Los Gatos

Cons:

It’s a bit tired. Needs a refresh. But clean with a friendly staff. Also lowest price in town which is why I return every time I’m in town

Room was described as studio king , however room was tiny, no place to move .....
Staff and booking management are not communicating to refund us for this tiny room???
I forgot a charger in the room - never found
I will not retutn to this hotel by a booking reservation

The 1940’s called. They want their rooms back. Charming BUT:
Clean, desperately in need of face lifts: peeling bath tile, deep floor scratched, janky bath faucets.
