The King Crab excursion was part of the summer Snow Resort package so it worked out to be very good value. The RIB boat ride was fun, and we pulled up two pots to get the large enough crabs after a ride up the fjord. Then the eating part in the quaint little waterside ‘restaurant’ was the most delicious part of the experience. There were more than enough crab legs to eat and so very tasty.
Excellent cabin, lovely staff, unforgettable experience!

Confident it is great in winter when there is snow. Must be lovely then with all the dogs.
We stayed end May. Unfortunately no snow. The resort felt empty. Not much to do. The cabins are nice, however they haven't really got a view and the inside is not the value you expect for that high price.
Amazing place to stay! Really good
Dinner & Breakfast, really good service staff.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, quiet, and clean accommodation.
Divertente!
Abbiamo prenotato all’ultimo l’escursione per andare a caccia dell’aurora boreale.
Friendly, welcoming staff. Interesting 'teatime' conversation. The chalets are nicely designed although beds are narrow. Good quality but not spectacular food. Delighted to find an orange qvevri wine from Georgia amongst the safer options on the short wine list. It was great to be able to see the ice rooms/bar even though we chose to sleep in a warm chalet!
We didn't choose a great time of year to stay (late April). The snow around the complex had all melted (earlier than usual) but the summer season wasn't underway, so the outside spaces felt wet and bedraggled. There were few guests and many tractors moving stuff around. We had been looking forward to the husky dog sled ride, but it was cancelled because of the lack of snow. None of this is the resort's fault - they can't control the weather. But whilst it was a pleasant enough way to power down after our Havila cruise, our experience felt pretty expensive for what it was. (NB after you disembark the Havila boat, there is ample time to get to tiny little KKN airport with luggage in time for the 1135 SAS flight - you don't actually need to stay over for an extra night). But if we had come in early March, with snow all around and a decent chance of seeing the Northern Lights, we might have found it a magical delight.
Amazing trip .magical place to visit
