I liked that check in and access to the building was easy, parking was accessible and the location was near to what we needed

Cons:

The room was not cleaned. We stayed multiple nights and there was not enough towels or bedding. There was no cutlery (as listed in ads) so dinner was extremely difficult to eat. Walls are not sound proof. The 'city view' was a view of the motorway and a building covered in graffiti. The hot water in the shower ran out after 1 shower and we had cold showers. Staff did not answer calls at all for help. No information provided in the room with contacts for after hours.

Pros:

Very handy location for the Auckland Badminton Hall as we were playing in a tournament there. Great to be able to leave our cars at the hotel and just walk to the playing venue. Was also great location as was able to walk to Newmarket mall and supermarket - very handy!

It stunkkkkk like Chinese food in the reception and the bathroom of our room! It was also so hot in the bathroom, so the smell mixed with the heat was revolting. Stains all over the floor AND bed sheets. The sheet & duvet cover felt unwashed. I would've had a positive comment in regard to the location; however, the parking situation was dodgey asf, so I revoke my positive comment lol. I know it's cheap, but you couldn't even pay me to stay here fml.
