Check-in times and waiting for a room to be cleaned, almost an hour after the posted check-in time.

Way too expensive for what you get. Overall the staff were not very helpful and no apologies offered for things that went wrong which were plentiful. First of all we timed our trip so we would arrive about 30min after check in so we knew we would get into our room right away. Instead the room was not ready and we had to wait in the lobby for almost an hour. The clerk did remove the parking fee off for us but that really didn’t make up for the inconvenience or considering the high price of our room. Due to storms the Direct TV went out and we had no TV. No apologies for this. If a hotel is going to charge this much they need to ditch Direct TV and go with a streaming service that actually works well. I mean this is Indianapolis and storms are frequent. Also the barcode for room service was malfunctioning and we had to actually walk down to the bar to order our food and wait for it when all we wanted to do was eat and rest in our room. Again NO apologies from staff. Finally in fear that both of our phones would die, we both forgot chargers, we called and asked for a wake up call that never came and we both overslept as a result. Overall a veey underwhelming experience. I will not stay here again.

Parking was expensive. Most people need to park, so they definitely take advantage of that. Arrived at 6pm to find numerous families sitting all over the lobby and bar with their luggage. As suspected, when we checked in, our room wasn't ready. I assume many of the other families were also there for the concert that we were attending. The children with me got changed in the lobby bathroom and I started doing their hair. We were late to the concert due to this. The breakfast line was long and slow and the area was small and hard to maneuver with so many people. But the staff was attentive and quickly replenished everything. Towels at pool were low but the dirty towel bin was overflowing.

I had a package overnighted. UPS said it got there. The staff kept telling me it did not. It made it to the loading dock at the back of the building so UPS said they would not refund me. Hotel staff for 2 days said they did not get it and anything at the dock usually makes it to guest services. Well, we are out our $130 for overnight and my daughter’s shirt in the package. Nobody wants to be responsible. Then, I noticed my deposit from the hotel was not returned. They tell me it was because of valet parking. However, when we checked in, the front desk said they were taking off the parking and it was free for being a first responder.

Upon entering the room we noticed the bathroom toilet paper was clean but there was not a fresh roll of toilet paper on the stand.

Front desk was horrible! They were charging unessesary fees, said my room was canceled because I didn't call ahead! After a 15 hr drive, in traffic and rain it was something I was not expected since my room was prepaid!
