This hotel has a great location and is very clean, but the pillows are a real problem. They’re so soft that they collapse instantly — even with two stacked, your head goes straight to the mattress and the filling crowds around your face. It’s not just uncomfortable; it’s unusable. A pillow should support your head, not disappear under it.
I requested foam pillows, which are normally available at most hotels, but none were offered. This is something the hotel really needs to address, because it directly affects sleep quality.
The rest of the stay was good, but the pillows were genuinely terrible.
Some type of construction was happening outside of the window, not sure what being worked on but was expecting to sleep in, started about 8:00 sharp.
The hotel is currently under construction. I was woken up at 8:00 am on the dot by the loudest hammering and skill saw right outside my bedroom window. It was so loud it was shaking the floor. When I went downstairs to share my concerns and ask if they could maybe offer me a free breakfast their response was, "Well then everyone would want a free breakfast, but you can go ask the kitchen staff." She didn't apologize and was rude. I asked kitchen staff, they said no problem. Then, in the middle of my meal - they brought me a slip to sign to charge it to my room!!! The hotel provided no warning when I checked in. The scaffolding can't be seen from the front of the building. I'm telling you, do not stay here!!!

It took at least 25 minutes to check in, the desk clerk clearly was untrained. I stayed two nights, and did not get maid service after my first night. At 3pm, I called to to complain my room wasn't cleaned and they said I should have requested that at check in (???) and the maids left for the day.

I was kept awake by a noisy neighbor. I called the front desk about the noise. The neighbor guest did not answer the phone so nothing was done. I was staying here after flying back from Orlando so I didn’t have to drive myself home. I had a concussion and needed sleep but because of the loud neighbor I got maybe 4 hours because the neighbor woke me up at 5 am. This is not ok. When I checked out and told the front desk about the neighbor he said that there is nothing they could do. He did give me $10 worth of snacks. I feel like he should have done more. Not sure if this will be my go to hotel for Sacramento anymore. Not a good experience and felt like Hilton didn’t care.
I chose this hotel for free airport transportation. As a Diamond member I always choose the Hilton brand. This hotel is a gem. Nice location close to shopping and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff. Clean nice room. Pretty new hotel. Happy hour drinks and snacks M-F. Highly recommend this hotel. No complaints.
